Why? This isn't Neopets. XD

So if you haven't watched the monthly update, towards the end of it, DJ Helsing mentions that if Gaia had a pet system what pets we would want to see.

Personally, I don't want to log on to see some cute desu animal going "OMG FEED ME NOW I'M ABOUT TO DIE WAAAAAAAAAAA" But I'm sure this appeals to some people. But honestly, all I can think about is when I used to wake up and my tamagotchi has pooped everywhere. omg no. lol still buying one if it ever does happen If we had some badass pets, I would be more okay with this idea though.

It would be interesting if we could leave them in our houses too and be interactive with them there. Outside of housing though, I'm not sure how they would different from the pets we already have. I also wouldn't want them replacing the rigpets we have now. I mean, I know people have wanted the animated part with the pet but that would mean we would only get one pet a month and there would only be a few released each time.

Also, I'm not sure what parts of the site would be interested. I mean, I'm sure the GCD would be because, you know, items. But I can't imagine the rally kids being all over this idea. Like, it would need an equip pose I think. I dunno.

I think it would be interesting if we had a pet that we only feed if we want it to evolve -- like go from baby to adult -- or back again. It could even be a gold sink.

They also will make you clean up their various messes. At least I never had to clean the fish tank. Maybe it will be a mini game kind of thing like nintendogs.

Call me crazy but I like this idea. XD I always liked Neopets
and pet sites. Plus, I always take care of my fish tank on here
even though all I get is a random item or gold. That's fun enough
for me.. bring on more, Gaia. XD

I'd post a picture of my old cat but since we moved I can't find
that picture I took of him with my Barbie camera as a kid. It has
so much sentimental value and I've wanted to find it.. I'll be devastated
if we threw it out x__x

That's like, rather upsetting to think of. Maybe they won't die though? Like, doesn't the neopets one live forever?

And all of this would just be another ploy for the artists to draw cats.

lol Its good for people to be interested in the aquariums though. XD It makes alchemy cheaper.

And yeah. I'm sure it would be a lot like aquariums. I wonder if it would be more about granting gold or us sinking gold into it.
