NOTICE: Gambino Donation Bar Info!

(this has been copied from the Q&A, sorry if it has already been addressed here) I have been going through the threads of this questions forum for a while now and I notice many pf the answeres to the gambino question include a part about people being upset at how there was a second bar after the first, and in turn thinking there will just be a third bar after this so why bother donating. Let me say this now, THERE WILL BE NO THIRD BAR!

Before the first Bar was even full, I and a few others became of why the route address of the bars image ended in a one, so we changed it to a two and found the second bar. We also of course, continued on and changed it to a three to see that as well but there was none.

Now I am not sure whether what I did was against gaia rules or not, but I wanted to post this here and now in the hopes that people will renew their energy in donating so we may see this event out. Thank you.

Don't rule out that third bar. They may not have uploaded it. Personally, I believe that there will not be a third bar, but you can't say there won't be. The screenshots, those are fakes, I know.

Also, I don't believe our donations have any impact on the bar's motion. The admins wouldn't let us decide the time of an important event, it has to be on the weekend. There's just no fighting it.

The admins wouldnt add something at the last second. that creates lag, glitches, and pissed off users. Also, the first bar shot up right in the middle of the day when everyone started seeing it and donating like millions of gold a person. If the admins controlled it, I dont think that they would just let us waste our gold like that.

Yeah..this is gonna lead up to something important..and the admins would not let us decide the time of an important event..so it is timed.. xp Its soo obvious that it is timed..put the clues together wink

The point of a gold sink is to take gold out of the economy, by whatever means. The POINT of this was to waste gold.

kinda defeats what i was gonna say about it having to do with Johnny k's mention of him leaving gaia MArch 18 is something drastic didnt happen, cause it will be this weekend before the bar fills if it is timed. and that will pass the 18th.

i wouldnt doubt the admins set up a goldsink. but what would happen is not a decrease in item prices but a jump.

less gold means people are gonna want more gold for the items.

the actual rules of supply and demand can NOT be applied to Gaia in a straight forward manner. cause there ARE so many greedy people.

but inflation sure can!

less money means things will cost more to get the same average income.

the only way to lower prices on items would be IF the casino was to open and an opening day full of LOTS of winners happened to increase the amount of money more than was donated by 10-fold. then more people would have the money to buy things, and less things would become available to sell. meaning less people want things, thus in order to sell something people would have to ask less for it in order to intise the would-be buyers into purchasing it. 3nodding

avatar are 256 colors. the layering and shading mask applied depend on what order you put things on. try taking a few things off and putting them back on and it might clean up. if not a little Brass-o should do the trick. blaugh

No, no no! That's not how an economy works. Less money means prices are LOWER. During the great depression, prices were REALLY low. Because there was not a lot of money floating around. Now, people are richer, and prices are higher. Money and items are both commodities. When there's more money, people have more money to bid on items, and bid go higher. When there's less money, people have less to spend, and items can't get the higher prices to work, they don't sell. THAT's why taking money out will lower prices.
