Ok, so I was over here, trying to be a good little Gaia cosplayer and went to the Gaia Marketplace and searched "White sneakers"
And, it just so happens that the perfect sneakers, Gray Phat Platforms, arent equipable for my avvie's gender and I goth this "This item cannot be used by your avatar's gender. ". ;~:
Oh, what a cruel fate that has befallen me. DD;
I also noticed that MOST of the sneakers are male only... owo;; Did they stop making items unisexed? A few weeks back I found some items that are also still female only also... was the project abandoned like so many others? Have YOU ever needed an item that was gender specific for the opposite gender?

Why would shoes be unisex in the first place? They're like, the least gendered article of clothing ever! (Except maybe socks.)

They should unisex everything. If I can dress my male alt up as a sugarplum fairy for Halloween you should be able to wear whatever shoes you want.

Coincidentally, I attempted to do the same cosplay (excellent job btw. I could not find something to use for the sonic screwdriver for the life of me) and could not find appropriate shoes. I eventually gave up and did a Doctor Donna costume mash up.

Some of the uninsex items look absolutely horrible on the opposite gender bases. Like the fancy virgin dress or whatever it's called. It would look so stupid on a male base because the male bases are so bulky, and the dress is so slender.

This topic reminds me of when I bought a pair of striped stockings right before they were unisexed and dropped from 50k to 5k. I got so pissed.

Anyway, the only thing I want to be unisexed is the fatty shirt, so I can do a pregger teenager avi and enter in the arena. I do like that they unisexed the dancer set, though I never use them.
