Ok, so I was over here, trying to be a good little Gaia cosplayer and went to the Gaia Marketplace and searched "White sneakers"
And, it just so happens that the perfect sneakers, Gray Phat Platforms, arent equipable for my avvie's gender and I goth this "This item cannot be used by your avatar's gender. ". ;~:
Oh, what a cruel fate that has befallen me. DD;
I also noticed that MOST of the sneakers are male only... owo;; Did they stop making items unisexed? A few weeks back I found some items that are also still female only also... was the project abandoned like so many others? Have YOU ever needed an item that was gender specific for the opposite gender?

Well, I didn't really need the pair of shorts I wanted to wear, but I thought they were so cool! ;w; I forgot what they were called, but they were black with a single stripe on the side, like basketball shorts. Looked so comfy on my avi, but it's not for my gender!

The problem is a lot of these items were made before the decision to unisex everything, they're certainly more concerned about making new items than going back, remaking the old item to fit the other gender, including putting in all the coding and images for front/back and standing/sitting.

I do wish they'd finish unisexing everything though.

but the jackets aren't. emo why couldn't they unisex the
jackets before stopping? ; n;

Yeah, this has happened to me before-- quite recently, actually.
I can't remember the exact item, but I think it was a shirt.
I was so sad to find out that only males could wear it! >.<
Whenever something like that happens, I think the outfit just isn't meant to be.

I meant that they unisexed the Dancer set. My male base was sad when he found out he had to share suspenders.
