New Kickstarter ~ Tri-Town Showdown: Item Grants!

Also, how do you know where your house is / what town you're from? I've been on here for six years and still don't know where I live, hopefully Aekea.

The event actually starts today!

It's a guild event in the Newbie Support and Training Guild, but it's been going on for like 10 years, and we've been featured on the front page of gaia many times.
Last year event theme was shipwrecked.

Do you guys remember that?

It's always a blast!

People win a lot of prizes, but the most important thing is how quickly you bond with the people in the guild!

My initial reaction was a groan at another kickstarter that has such high global levels (which is basically forcing most who want to actively participate by buying gold generators) and what feels like personal levels that's forcing us to remember GoFusion.

My frustration with kickstarters is rather simple. We get them to fund what should be a part of the Gaia experience such as the Summer event, Beach Party etc. We also get them to help the guilds be able to throw great events and survive the inflation.

The thing about the kickstarters is that I'd would much rather have them be for only supporting well known guilds, or community projects, that are all about helping the community.

I have donated some gold to the cause and look forward to the event.

I am excited for this event though. I'm a little on the broke side right now, so my donation will be the minimum for an achievement.

Announcement from the guild. They are making Barton a sort of "safe place" a neutral zone if you will. Which fits what I always envisioned Barton as.
