If you have paid attention to the Gaia Interactive website lately you will see there a new job openings listed at Gaia Interactive. That's right folks. Gaia Interactive is hiring! The positions are:

Director of Content and Community

Mobile UX and Design Lead
http://gaiainteractive.com/jobs/mobile-ux-and-design-lead

iOS Developer
http://gaiainteractive.com/jobs/ios-developer

Android Developer
http://gaiainteractive.com/jobs/android-developer

These positions may go for Tentacl or another project. They may not be solely for Gaia Online. I'm not exactly sure how new these positions are, however, I don't recall seeing these positions posted a month or two ago. emotion_sweatdrop I am personally ecstatic to see the positions Gaia Interactive is hiring for. I've been waiting for an update to the mobile app for ages. The Director of Content & Community is an interesting role too. One I can't wait for someone to fill to help bridge the communication between users and staff.

There's just something so...weird and fake about that Director of Content and Community description. I honestly didn't read the rest.

I'm hoping it'll help Gaia, but yeah, it's probably for tentacl.

THEY ARE FINALLY GOING TO UPDATE/CREATE APPS!, thank god they were so missing out D: seriously not having an app for this website?, in this market?, were they insane??? XD I'm just glad it'll be in the works <3

It doesn't really seem that Tentacl would need a director of content and community. Since tentacl is more about blogging. Like tumblr meets twitter but three times the porn.

GAIA HOWEVER, it seems like exactly what we'd need.

The app market would be a great investment, if done right. It's spread worldwide and people generally spend more time on tablets and smartphones, especially if you travel and stuff. mad

The director sounds like what DJ's job was. IOS and Android developers they had and fired so I'm hoping an ex-developer like swarf gets rehired.

I don't live nearby and I'm not tech or social savvy enough for any of those jobs.

They have the app but it's sorely in need of updating. I'm pretty sure the person who first designed it moved on to other places. Ever since iOS made the jump to 7 and they last updated for some bugs the app hasn't been very useful at all. I'd love to be able to use it again for more than just filling up on Cash but it's just not possible with all the flaws brought on by iOS7. Hopefully, that app for the site will the first thing they tackle before they move on to other projects because the app they have can bring in good money for them through mobile payments with either an iTunes account or a Google Play account. They just have to get it working right and more people will be able to better use it.

The description for community director sounds a bit weird, but it looks like they're looking for the person to run the new app they're designing. The use of viral and focus on stereotypical internet communities leads me to believe it's a Tentacl mobile app
