though TBH I think the site has so many items that no single one stands out to me as being super popular any more :/
Whatever is new and fresh I always see a lot of, usually right when it's released...then people seem to fall back to their usual things.

Sure does seem that way. Gaia just keeps poppin' out more pixels month after month.
Really doesn't give any individual item a chance to become that one largely sought-after goal.

that it is absolutely amazing.

Now about the topic at hand: I remember when Oculus
Mythica/Magica were horribly overused. As for at this
point, I'm not so sure. I'd have to say the Keiko's Cake
dress. I see that dress everywhere. Also, Sundae Sweets,
mainly the lips.

I'd maybe say the slipper items, ancient katana, and Oison. There's more, but they don't bother me as much.

I frequent CB, so my votes go to DTail and HOTD. They're so popular they have nicknames. And they've probably been mentioned a thousand times in this thread.

I also see a lot of 03 avatars in Exchange - slippers of various animals, Angelic/Nitemare Scarves, OMG hats everywhere.

Everyone seems to be questing those same items too. It's a status symbol now, something tells me half the people questing them don't even care for their looks, they just want 'em because everyone else has 'em.
