Once the casino has cooled off a bit the prices should even out. It always happens when they release new items and stuff. It's a big craze but honestly the casino is monotonous and people will soon tire of it. Just wait and amass your junk

I can see that a lot of you agree with what AbsoluteShadows in that the Casino (as well as when any bunch of new items come along) causes the recent drop in prices. I've never been a really savvy seller of goods, IRL or on Gaia, but I can actually understand this. biggrin About how long do these crazes usually last, and can anyone comment on the long-term effects, or make a prediciton?

Everything not Casino related has taken a dive. I was going to sell a Dec 2003 letter till I noticed that they've dropped by about 100k. eek

Things will bounce back though - whenever something new and desirable is released the market undergoes a bit of a slump while people frantically try to sell their inventories so that they can get the new items now. The panic won't last forever though.

Hold it isn't inflation dying out a good thi..oh yeah your were benefitting from it weren't you..never mind then..

Eh... Inflation on some items can be a good thing, IMO... But deflation on the things that we actually WORK for (i.e., fishing) is a bad thing. sad crying
