Because we're not opening them looking for an instant loss. The only optimistic people are the ones who will take advantage of the deflation.

But I agree, it will make a lot of items more available. However, they'll have to put something a little more rare in there if they want the sales to continue at all in the future. Otherwise, this was just a silly test (for what I don't know) and a waste of time.
