Let's say your browsing through the shops, looking for some new pants or shirt or shoes to add to your ever growing inventory because your wardrobe needs a bit more spice and you're not going to shell out 285,400k for that new EI with that flowy top pose.

And you spy something you like after clicking through endless tabs. It looks like it'd be PERFECT for that avi you have in mind. The colouring, the style, dear Lord, even the texture is right! So you click!

To find that the item it bulky and looks nothing like it was previewed in the shops.

Sad to say, that has happened to me more than once. ;<

Items like the Soldalt items [I used to love those pants D: ] and more recently those tennis jackets. D: THEY LOOK SO CUTE AS ICONS.

Has this happened to you, GCD?

Will you ever find that perfect coat? :<

I have just recently bought a 'top' and it looked so perfect in the Try-outs, even though I tried it with a male avatar, for a female one .
When I put it in the intended owner, it was but a huge block of pixels, gonk it looks so bad now D:
I am very disappointed
So I totally understand you D: ( trying to find the name of item...)
Also if you pay attention the thumbnail of certain items are completely different from the real item , especially old commons.

This happens to me a lot with certain hairstyles that look nice on the icons, but when I try them on they look horrible. I can't say this has happened to me with stroe items though.

The Woolen Tavern Wench's Bustier. The icon is such a pretty light cream color that would look so good with so many outfits, and then you equip it and find that it's an ugly brown that's hard to work with -_-

It annoys me when I'm looking through Tektek, find something I
really think would match my colour scheme, and it's a completely
different shade. It usually happens with pink and brown items.
Some of the brown items look nearly orange, but when you equip
them they're really dark. And the pinks look purple. Dx

I can't wear the tattoo variations with so many black outfits because although the tattoos appear to be black, you quickly find out they're actually bruise-purple. >(
