If you could see old features return, what would it be?

For those of us that have been on gaia for several years, we've seen the site under go many changes from meebo being removed, VJ being taken down, ect. However, if gaia managed to bring back one of those features, what would you like to see.

This is just a fun little topic and a way to remember the good old days of gaia. Personally I miss the theaters we used to have and being able to throw fire balls and popcorn at the screen. The same goes for VJ, but with VJ that was understandable on gaia's part. I also miss when gaia did more free sponorship items too. Gaia still does it off and on, but I remember when we had a ton of them nearly every week. It's not really a feature, just something I miss. : P

I missed seeing the Personals. I doubt that I would have used it, but it sounded funny.

The quest system and the exchange system. And I would like these utilized for Alchemy. I would like to see everything utilized for Alchemy.

I also miss all the sponsor quests and whatnot. If Gaia was able to bring that back stronger than it has been for a few years, we wouldn't see such a massive push toward selling us Gcash.

Engraving, but for all items ("Embroidering" for items considered clothing, "Enchanting" for everything else).

A deceptively simple system that could act as a cute permanent gold sink in addition to the shops. Not very hard to code, someone just needs to find the original coding, touch it up, and reimplement it. Absolutely no Cash must be usable for Engraving, though. Pay out of gold pocket or don't use it.

Frontier Skies. The actual game on the site, not the board game they made later. I loved that game so much.

I remember a couple years ago, a dev posted a mini-game with Sen and Overseer that we could download. It didn't grant anything on the site and was just a one-off game we could play on our computers, but I really liked the idea. I've always wished Frontier Skies could even come back like that, just so I could still play it in some way.

(without having to open flash spaces)
It also makes it easier to talk while yer drawing things.

I want them to bring back those events where you would hunt for items on the World Map and in Towns. You know, where you'd gather eggs/candy/presents and so forth, then bring them to the appropriate NPC which was wandering around the map. That really made the world come to life. 3nodding

Remember when Jack punched Santa into the building in Barton Town?
As the manga was updating things would be changing with little gifs cropped over the map itself!
It was simple, but really fun to watch the changes as the plot developed. It made the users really feel like they were watching it happen, not just reading a manga.

I'd love it if an event had those kinds of theatrics again. biggrin

The hunting game from Frontier skies, I loved that. It would make a really nice mini-game. I don't know why they didn't leave it as a stand alone game, with exchangeable items.

Real events, like the old Zurg or Orphans style.

Got me a gold engraved bracelet I like to wear all the time, that you can never see.
Makes me feel fancy. Having this relic from days gone by.

I didn't write it, but I like it.

And VJ was the best.
I loved it. I used it alot.
I like watching things with folks.
Space Jam was so ******** funny, guys.
