it took me like three or four months to earn enough gold to buy a gwee dragon and gothic veil.
i wish i had it this easy back then.

also; if you want to afford the cash shop items- put more money into the cards you want to buy. sell the crap you don't use on the mp.
over half of the items i've earned are from selling my old stuff, posting, playing, ect.

why Gaia sucks that much nowadays?

-Lotery and their overpriced two numbers we are being able to buy, way to go Gaia, that's the kind of marketing you needed to stuff your pockets with tons of money!
-Crappy stuff being given by the Overseer now (aquarium)
-Way too overpriced latest items in the Cash Shop! you can't even buy nice items with 150 Gaia Cash now, their prices went up to 500+ Gaia Cash!
-Heck, the "Dernier Cri" shop is another example why Gaia sucks now, 1 million + items? what happened???


i guess Gaia is only for rich peoples now, because if they don't change their way of doing things, i bet they're going to lose a lot of peoples, leaving for a different kind of community.

At least for me, i just come on to grab the freebies and leave afterward, it's not ever worth doing Booty Grabs anymore since all the good items are like 400-500k+ gold, it's crazy how the Gaia economy sucks!

Couldn't have put it better. I've been on Gaia for a long time, and at one time I actually thought the prices couldn't get any higher. Whelp, I was wrong, I guess. stare

I sigh every time some says gaia sucks for its avatar content, sure, I supose its logical to think people want what is out of their current reach most, but whats the fun in questing if youre done in a few minutes.
not to mention you can form a god look with cheap items.

for me, Gaia is a forum, the personalizeable avatar is an extra content.

I also laugh when I imagine people waisting all of their money on cash shop items, sure buying a bit now a then is ok, but using up all of their money on pixels and "gold", I chuckle at the thought.

Dernier Cri exists to take enormous amounts of gold out of the system increase the over all worth of gold which of course brings MP prices down a bit. It's really a terrific idea, they just need more incentive to buy from it like have 300k items in there.
