Okay, so let's say you meet someone on Gaia who will give you anything you want (it's someone who's really wealthy and isn't just full of crap). Also, this person is honest and can be trusted. So far, that's good. But, here's catch: you'd have to change your username to something the person chose. Also, it's a name you hate (the person tells you the name). That's the bad side. However, in exchange for you allowing the person to give you a new name, the person will give you whatever you want, be it a super expensive item, or a lot of gold, or whatever. Nothing would be off limits to you. But, once your name is changed, you can never change it back (those are the terms of the agreement, if you accept; also, the person would pay for the name change if necessary).

So, what would you do? Would you accept the offer, even though you'd be stuck with a name you absolutely hated? Would you turn it down to keep your name? If you did accept, what would you get, and do you think you'd eventually grow to like the name?

Well, like every scenario, I think of my own actions. Honestly, I'd be temped (very tempted xd ), but I wouldn't change my name. I really like my name and am too attached to it (I thought about changing my name, but after giving it much thought, as well as getting input from other people, I decided not to).

And after about a month or so, I'd just change it back anyway.

It depends on the name and item. I might take the item, change the name to whatever for a while then change it to something else. But it depends on the name.
