Welcome to Gaia! ::

Has a Clubs shaped chest hole pose.

Gaia, why u no make card item right?

This makes me wonder how many other items there are that are improperly named. Had any of you noticed this?
Wow. that is really dumb.

and i agree -- as an amateur card magician i am annoyed that a) they would mess up a suit so bad and b) they don't even have a deck of cards item or singular cards (besides Russell Ace doll but that is merely an ace of diamonds and badly done). a "deck of cards" is on the list of suggested items -- i checked.

Hah. razz I will look out for further lol-mistakes.

Cards can be quite tipsy topsy. They are tricky things and must be quite looked after.

Clubs kills Spades?
Um I always thought it was justly named. I think you are interpreting the name of the item incorrectly.
The Executioner is not a spade himself/herself. He/she is the executioner (killer) of the spade cards.
Thus he/she is a club.

Hidden Ace and Alice's Card Tricks might be worth a look.

Also, isn't there a holdable Ace of Spades available in Prize & Joy?

I thought it implies that clubs is the killer of spades.

Yeah pretty much what everyone else is saying, I had taken the hole in his/her chest to mean that they're clubs themselves

Um I always thought it was justly named. I think you are interpreting the name of the item incorrectly.
The Executioner is not a spade himself/herself. He/she is the executioner (killer) of the spade cards.
Thus he/she is a club.
Spades beat clubs. Thus the name is even more illogical. I think that you are grasping at straws. They ******** up, it's as simple as that.

Well you and I have no idea what the artist was thinking when he/she made the item, so we are both grasping at straws.

An item that is "of spades" should logically be Of Spades. My point is perfectly sound. Yours is not.

Then you'll probably want to point out how they put hearts on the "Diamond Cutter", because logically something that says diamond in the name should be of diamonds ._. (also yes yes diamonds beat hearts and all that jazz, not the point; the weapon itself has hearts signaling that it would be used to cut diamonds, with its fancy diamond shaped blades and whatnot)

See how it doesn't work? Even if it wasn't "Diamond Cutter", the of spades item should make it a spade symbol instead of a heart symbol, by your logic.

On another, but similar note, what is the explanation of the scar going through the clubs hole, since you know so much about the item and what the artist was doing?

However when preceded by "Executioner" or a title that is synonymous with destroying or killing, then it is equally logical that it could be interpreted as the "Killer" of spade cards.
If one is given the title of the Killer of Women (as an example), that does not necessarily mean that the killer is representing women.
We can speculate all day long, however that is all we are doing. Speculating.
No one is right and no one is wrong when dealing with speculation.

Come on now. It is a playing card inspired item. Without explanation from the artist, the logical assumption is that it follows the same naming convention as cards themselves. Queen of Hearts, King of Diamonds, Executioner of Spades.

Are you arguing just to argue?
