I'm spending on wish list items but only when i reach certain goals. I consider the items I own as part of my worth so not really a loss in value. But also like to keep enough in the bank so I can still buy and sell on the market place.

It takes me a very, very long time unless I take up some mild vending or people donate to me.
Or if I sell things. Selling things makes you gold-rich fast if you're item-rich. |

I reached 250k sometime after my art got off the ground and started going for 50k.
5 pieces got me there. Now my art goes for more, so 250k isn't a huge deal to me.' The poor/rich thing is crock when it comes to gold. I'm worth 12 million in items at least, but I only have 100k on me. There's no real solid poor/rich line. |

Like now. ): As for item wealth, they're only worth what you're willing to sell them for. Many users aren't going to sell their items, and so even if they're worth technically 30mil (just a random amount), if they only want to sell 35k worth of items, they're only worth 35k. |

The cash shop definitely screwed things up a little. Most wealth nowadays is earned via Cash Shop. Yes, I know anyone can make money by vending in the marketplace and selling art, etc. etc.
Now, people are spending $20 bucks on the cash shop and instantly getting hundreds of thousands of gold. I think anyone can make that much in a day easily. It's just a matter of how much you spend. Some people (like me) do not have that luxury and have to earn gold by saving up, etc. Upper Class: 5 mil + High Class: 2 mil - 4 mil Mid class: 250k - 1 mil Lower Class: 0 - 250k |

I know it nice to put some money back into the site to thank them for the effort but I have to say i feel prouder of myself from earning it all from scratch than just blowing £20 on a bunch of items for easy money, it frustrates me whe i see others doing it too.
