What good does it do to have a lot of work by one person when you think their art style and color choices suck?
She can make all the items she wants. I ain't paying real money for them, and I'll only get it once they're done.
A lot of good for people who's dicks don't fall off every time something doesn't match perfectly.
I have a lot of fun with her items since Dakki is a character and not EVERYTHING has to match perfectly ALL the time. I've gotten miles out of the nest egg, I'm looking to get a Yama, I love my yemaya's pearl....

And s**t, it's all interesting and neat to learn about when you look up what myths she's done. I'd rather a timely artist then some pose that takes 9 weeks, blends with anything and gets lost after all that goddamn waiting.

Drinky is a lot like Jenzee...her work is a statement. You know it when you see it. You have to work with it.

Gee, the second statement makes it sound like you're being forced to buy her items.

It's one artist, one style. No need to sound like you're having a tizzie right now.

I think the key is not trying to match, to just have fun with it. Does every avi have to make sense?

Depends on the person you're asking.
To some, matching IS the fun. If it doesn't match they don't want it and thus they don't get it or it irks them if they keep trying.

Some like to be nonsensical and can make any item work.
I wish I was the latter. x.x

Jeebus people, what's up with all the Drinky hate?

Anyway, the one item I find really hard to match, well...there isn't one. There are joke items, and that's another story entirely, but I've seen most things done well at least once.
I do agree with whoever posted about the ending Death Whisper poses though. Love that item to death, but really? A giant leg? XD
(Although it'd be cool if people got together in towns and made the entire body.)

Yes, it does depend on who your talking to. I my self love to match, but I have fun just having fun with items. There are some things I have, that if I was that into matching I would never wear.
please people id like to talk about what you have used before, not about drinky's odd color combinations sweatdrop

When I see an item or skin that looks ineffectual I try to make an outfit with it. I guess I like the challenge of making it work, & making it look good.

I only react like that when artists use wonky colors *coughDrinkycough*

Don't be hatin' on Drinky, she made the sparkly squid on my head right now.
Anyway.
I felt this way with many of the Nightmare poses.
