My friends and I had so much fun with S.I.N. and B.O.O. lol Two of us were on S.I.N. and my other two friends were on B.O.O. We thought it was hilarious when our two friends got that hideous potato skin with worms on it. rofl I still remember staying up so late trying to build up power to blast the other side. It was really fun. 3nodding

Only been here since 2010 so i'd have to go with Grave Danger, it was the best of the 3 I was here for and I enjoyed it. As long as it's nothing like last years i'll be fine with it, hated that event so much that I didn't even bother participating. Whatever you guys end up doing, just make sure it's creepy.

Masquerade/Moonrise - (participant since 2006)

While Grombies will always hold a special place in my heart, the suspense of watching the Beast get closer to the mansion during the pre-event, the variety of ways to combat werewolves/hunters (in forums, or flash, by attacking, by healing, by "turning", ect), not to mention getting my very own bad-a** wolf for my avi at the end makes Moonrise easily my favorite Halloween event.

Last year's was not up to par and I didn't put my heart into it but, I did discover the Mysterious Anon Gifting Thread instead so, it was still a great Halloween. 4laugh

I missed a few Halloween events. I loved 2004 and 2005, missed most of 2006, loved 2007, missed 2008, liked 2009, ABSOLUTELY LOVED 2010, meh 2011, missed most of 2012.

Working at a haunted house and full time definitely cuts back on free time in October. lol I'm glad the events last past Halloween itself, otherwise I would have missed most of them.

I really, really miss having zOMG tie ins for events. Walking around and interacting during events, fighting alongside a large group of Gaians to achieve an end is fun.

Repetitive clicking does not make for a fun event. Spam tapping a key, spamming the forums with key words, and collecting obscene amounts of items (usually by spam clicking), are not fun to me. I loved how interactive and battle based Grave Danger was, both as a site based game and as fighting Jack in zOMG.

'07 was my favorite, because it linked with a lot of the storylines of gaia and had a likeable (at least for me) story. We got to get deeper insights and more development on many previous characters and their motives as well as an introduction to new characters.
I really felt like this was the Halloween with solid "villians" the rest seem a little more tame compared the VonHelsons(sp?).

Also, vampires were pretty cool and I liked the items they gave out. I think I still have my Ghost Cape from fighting for the human resistance. While I believe the video and acting was a little sub-par, at the very least Gaia attempted something "new".

grave danger is my favorite! reading npcs journals and posts were so much fun and getting to interact with them was so nice! seeing them interact with each other was so fun too! i even chatted with one of the npcs over PM and gave them a gift crying i like how some of them added on friendslist and you could see their status messages change

i think 2k4 did the same thing with journals and messages it was creepy and cool and seeing zombie labtechs coming in the board gave me chills. i was really young i dont remember more so i cant say any more.. did the zurg event have interaction too i was taking a break from gaia so i missed it. my friend really liked that event she gifted clothes to the alien and he is still wearing it today

the flash place for the wolf event was neat i liked the music and the lightning. i also liked my sweet TIMMY how's he doin.. what ever happened to timmy i'll bust him outta prison put on some smooth jazz and give him big smoochies

i hope this years halloween is cool i want gino i miss gino gino gino gino

For the record, been around since '05. I never hated any of the events, but I hope they remain largely forum-based with just simple flash games implemented. What I could do without, though, is having to do 500+ of something to get an item or achievement. sweatdrop I don't mind doing the work to reach those goals, but I'm often trying to achieve everything on little free time. Forum-exclusive titles are fine; then I could not care as much. User Image

2k11's Moonrise has a special place in my heart because I just freaking love werewolves, and I enjoyed the battle mechanics. But I'd say the Halloween I found the most fun by far was 2k8. The content (I mean the little things like the attack descriptions and success/fail messages) was humorous and seeing people react to getting Flaming Hugged to death was highly amusing. User Image
