I joined Gaia back in 2005 and it reminds me of those days, so I flipped s**t.

Ahhh, memories. When I first joined Gaia I was 15, exactly one month before my birthday. Some of my friends were already on the site, so I joined as well.
Gold was a b***h to earn, I was never able to get a donation letter without rigorous questing [got my first in 2004!!] so unfortunately I missed out on Minis and Scarves. I did quest for the Angelic Scarf once, and ended up trading it towards a Sash!

There were no games, no EIs, no RIGS, no nothing! Just good ol' chatting and a bit of story here and there. Letters were 2k, and you were lucky to make 500 gold in one day!
