Getting reacquainted with Gaia

college made take a 1 year and a half hiatus. I`m coming back right now. And there's so much new stuff but everything is still pretty much the same, i supose? I wish i could have my friends back, as they have pretty much abandoned their accounts, but hey, tought luck, it`s a matter of getting used, i think.

When I've been away from Gaia from a while and want to get back, it's usually difficult for me to remember what I used to do to have fun. . . but a good start is always picking up daily chance, and maybe bumming around some of the main features of the site. For me, zOMG! is always a good standby when there's nothing else to do, and if you're feeling courageous socially (sometimes I'm really not) then you can hang around the forums and try to jump into conversations.

I admit, that's kind of what I'm doing right now. xD;;

I came back recently after years of being clean. I'm a little irritated that I haven't been able to get my old account back yet. Depressingly little has changed in the community since 2008-10.
