cant be from streets of rage because when they said girlfriend again
double dragon is the only one who you go and rescue someones girlfriend in a beat'em up that I know of off hand

unless youre talking about like the 2nd game where you go get Max brother burning_eyes

the barrels and meat look like it could be from any game tho~ I've seen those in Street Fighter and Ninja Warriors for sure.

Yeah but Homestuck isn't a video game unless it is and I didn't know.

Homestuck is read like a video game and is parodying video games~ (and you do play it at multiple points)
