Why do I need to move to be around gaian's my own age? I like the many different age groups and I have many different friends because of it too.

However if I am lucky some of my...ex friends might move to the new edgy gaia.

I hope that be the case.

if it does end up being created, I doubt it will last too long before it becomes a hub of sex and porn. When you give the internet the option of posting more questionable material, it generally doesn't end well.

I think it received too much flak especially when people realized that the funds that go through the forums end up in a common pool and distributed by the powers that be to which ever expense they deem fit. One of them is this +18 site and quite a few members won't be even able to avail of it until they've hit 18 or some don't even want to do anything with it. They'd rather all the proceeds (after salaries, rent, utilities, etc.) go directly to make this site better and not some sister site.

Those along with that unfortunate accident with that poll/survey, I think it'd be better the site be built below radar.

If the new site was directly tied to the avatar system here and I was able to show off my items here and there then sure why not. It's no huge deal for me. I don't have any qualms about being 32 but if a sister site allows me to meet people who are closer to my age (the way GCD does) then why not?

Really that's my main thing about it. I would rather not have it be a huge new site where I have juggle to sites and two accounts. I'd rather have some common features working on both sites but I'm simply able to move in different circles (all ages and 18+).

That way it would be less about a "common pool" but that there be a section if you will where you can meet those who might be closer in age (and by that logic who might know what you're going through etc).

Though it depends on how you use Gaia. If you're the type who wants to be interactive, and meet people, make friends, etc then having an 18+ site might allow you to do that a bit more freely. For me I'm happy enough with the acquaintances (and that's a loose term I know but I think I can see most people in the GCD in friendly terms and vice versa even if it's no more than that) but that said I think it'd still be fun...basically have a GCD experience all over the site.

It looks 3D and out of place compared to the rest of the outfit. Not saying your fashion is wrong. I love it. Just the design of the illustration is upsetting me. emotion_donotwant
