Hi,

Below are links to each week's softball game details and pictures. Enjoy and cheer on the Gaians Gone Wild! softball team!

Each week, I'll add links below about that week's opponents, post-game summary, pictures, etc.

Game 6, 4/17 We tied 13 to 13. But we're still in 3rd place since there are two teams tied for 2nd.
Game 7, 4/24 "Member Appreciation Night" -- Everyone was a winner that night! See what happened!
Game 8, 5/1 We lost by just one run! We're one of the league's most consistent teams...always losing by just ONE run. crying
Game 9, We lost.
Game 10, We lost. Consistency on a team is good. blaugh

Summer Season starts 6/11 with a newly revamped team! New players, new 2nd team with new name, new league, a new location, and best of all, a new season! New season details are here!

Dear Masters of the Sticky (aka admins and Developers),

I'm glad that you guys are having fun with soft ball... but this is the third topic in announcements alone.

Don't you think you could either compress this into one thread? Or heck, keep them. But get rid of the old "Ask the Admin" threads (we have a thread with all of their content) as well as the Walmart Locations and MMVII thread. None of those are being used anymore.

We have more stickies and announcements in our forum than all of the Gaia Community forums put together. Don't get me wrong, we love our admin interaction (it's one of the best parts of the GCD) but the forum would appreciate it if some time was spent on cleaning the old threads up.

Are we ever going to learn the final score of the first game? Or is it some weird Left Coast thing where you don't play for scores? I are confoooosed. confused

OK, nevermind, I read the edit of the other thread. I was so enthralled with the pictures that I didn't see that the first game was a forfeit.

For everyone who says there aren't enough women working at Gaia, well hey, you have enough to NOT forfeit a game. We are proud of you.

And if someone does film the game, please don't let that stop Bruno and Edy, my favorite Gaia paparazzi, from taking pictures to abuse admire.
     
Way older than a Gaian should be.

...I am completely and utterly confused. ._. I think I may've missed something.... Because this whole softball thing is news to me, I tell you.

EDIT: But hay. My first ever post on pg. 1 of an announcement. I guess most people just didn't bother....
