I think it is a wonderful idea, but what if you guys had more than one 'charity' item, some users might not like the A) the item itself B) if somebody wanted to donate more than once, then they might want more than one, but wont if that's all they get?

What if you guys made a portion of proceeds from your gaia cash shop, MC's and the charity go towards those for the time (let's say two weeks for sake of arguement) as opposed to keeping it all.

I believe it is a wonderful idea, and if anybody could PM me at a later date with any updates/suggestions it would be loved.

I love this idea. If you do put up a virtual item for charity, I am so buying. I love donating and helping out as best as I can. I hope this plan succeeds!

I was wondering this. It'd be a bit weird to wear a charity item you never donated for... But I dont see why not. >shrugs< If we can make money off them, maybe more people will donate for them?

Honestly, I say Education, but I don't know if that specifically falls under 'Cultural & Educational', since that could mean so many different things. I'm referring specifically to programs that benefit education in empoverished areas, and not just in third-world countries, but here in the US as well. Not everyone has a computer in every classroom, and not everyone has even a computer in every school. Hell, not every student even gets to have his or her own books in some schools. Some schools have to go to other schools to borrow books. I had an entire tirade typed out here, but I'll save it for my journal. xD

I believe in better teachers, better books, better schools, materials and programs for our kids. Education needs an upgrade, and if I can be a part of that, and do this while enjoying my favorite website, then so much the better.

I'm in. Bring it on, Tae. I'll buy a dozen of them.
