How about we all equip that terrible item known as the mistake for a day, and encourage GCDers and SFers and even GDers (in their own weird way) and ADers and EDers to try and set aside the day and our collective differences to discuss the effects of negative corporate tactics on the community?

I think that is an excellent idea. I think in addition idea it would be good to on that way either send a PM/E-mail/whatever to Craig Sherman as he must be the head of all this. That way he of all people could know what is up with the mistake wearing and also could raise more awareness. Plus with a visual and mail reminder of what is being done wrong it is going to have to get attention.

Hmm...That might be a good idea. Someone oughta PM Ciddy 'bout dis though. In addition, if we do all decide to do a long term objective for this, we really ought to keep this thread alive too. Having a single thread with numerous complaints, suggestions, etc will send a powerful message to those that read it...Because it'll show that we as the community care a whole lot 'bout this issue.

So that's what we have to do. It's been mentioned before but a guild could be a great thing and a thread in the community projects forum in addition to this one. We all must have friend that frequent other forums we can start talking to them and get the word around. We can start posting in the SF, advertise for such a guild in our signatures. It could take a lot of planning but done right it could create a big bang. With a little work I think we could pull this off.

Not only would it be a great way to get the attention we need for this problem. But it would also be a good way to show people like Craig Sherman that gaia is a community and not just a business deal. By working together we can make the difference *insert cheesy music here*

The current site is ok, but... It feels like Gaia after Dr. Robotnik has had his way with it. xd So sterile and... unnatural. Its not even a case of sentimental value or being an oldbie, THAT site, the picture Dankin showed, looks so much warmer and more spirited than this one.

Between this and the demodding of loads of good mods, I'm not sure what to think of Gaia anymore. It's all very unnerving. The past two months have just felt.. strange, and I couldn't put my finger on it until I read that entry.
