A very valid point was made by Meromictic. We need a staff notice for this contest.

It was a bit tough for me to choose who should win for best female avatars, there were several great ones! But I just picked one and stuck with it. Male was a little easier. There were also some very nice post styles too!

I wonder how they chose from the nominees? Must've been a lot of them.

It surprised the crap out of me. XD I dunno.. I had a very interesting/bad
day and this made me really smile. It's so cool to actually be nominated. And to
see a ton of people I actually know get nominated for things too. I wasn't even
aware of this contest.

I voted already. :3 It is pretty nice to be nominated though.. this was
the last graphic I ever made that I actually enjoyed making. It's like
going out with a bang.

Man, so I didn't pay any attention to this contest when it first came out because I seriously thought it was a FILL OUT WHO YOU THINK WILL WIN FOR EACH CATEGORY AT THE ACADEMY AWARDS contest..where liek the person with the most right gets the prizee.

This concept is waaaaay cooler, though.

And I hope it gets to continue every year.

I really enjoy seeing Zurg Hive nominations. (Even if GiB's Halloween Event thread had like 28 pages instead of 5. It must not have been as memorable to the GaiAcademy! Hee)

I'm glad Fractale was nominated in the Best Surreal Post/Topic. No lie. I read his threads and walk away from my computer every time. I'M JUST THAT CONFUSED I DON'T UNDERSTAND my poor brain ;.;
