I used to spend money, particularly during my summer job when the paychecks came in. I'm broke rn for other reasons, so I couldn't if I wanted to... makes it easier to not buy, at least, aha.

I think i'd only spend $20 at most: i'd buy wintergreen as a holiday gift to myself, but not regularly.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying. I drive a shitty '95 Saturn that cost me $1000. It was an upgrade from my previous car, an '85 Volvo, that cost $500. No joke.

I'm running up my credit on groceries while trying to get my business off the ground.

I do not spend my money on virtual items.

When I do make money I'll be saving up $1,500 or so to get a bigger motorcycle. And visit my family. And eat more than pasta and eggs. And buy 2 ply toilet paper.

I have a job. I also have perspective and a sense of responsibility, and experience with having been poor and unemployed in the past, which ensures that I will certainly not be going into debt over pixels. No matter how cute those pixels are, I will only buy items for cash if I have extra money at the moment beyond my usual "just in case" savings in the bank. And never credit - only what I already have.

Seriously, do not put your financial stability in jeopardy over pixels. You never know when something terrible will happen and you'll wish you had a thousand in the bank, or even five bucks to your name.
