Gaia has evolved into such a clever site...I still remember everyone bitching their heads off when the Cash Shop was announced. Now I can't even imagine how much money they must rake in on a daily basis. I'm sure Gaia will still be going strong for its 20th anniversary, too!

Gaia almost being 10 years old makes me feel OLD! Still grumbling about not having a 04 sash. confused I have a lot of friends that I would not have without Gaia and I'm thankful for that. It would be funny if they crank up the wayback machine and make the site look like the go-gaia days.

I think we'll get something small but just for commemoration. Perhaps something that'll go back to it's roots in coloration and style.

The staff was able to maintain this site for this long which is is a testament to itself.

I look forward to Gaia's 10th. I hope they'll go all out and make it something to remember.

I hope that this'll also draw any oldbie users from '03 to '05 out the woodworks, and even draw whatever oldbies who packed up and left, back to the site.

a true testament! Not many sites I know can be maintained for 10 years. Especially not most avi sites. Major kudos to Gaia staff

know what would be nice? If somehow, all the staff that found jobs elsewhere or whatever, came back to Gaia for just that one day, and posted in Lanzer's anniversary thread, like how much they enjoyed working for Gaia, how happy they are to see Gaia turn 10, and how they contributed in some way, to making Gaia better for us users. That would be so touching and like one giant staff family anniversary smile

I wouldn't mind seeing Gaia go back to it's roots in color and layout.

You poll has some big holes in it for selecting an age.

As for the 10 year anniversary... I dunno. I've never been much of a milestone kind of person. I just don't understand why 10 is a more important number than the 9 or 11 on either side of it.

Wow, huge props to Gaia to be around this long. I hope what they have planned is good. I'd love a blue halo, as long as their colors are not separated by gender.

It's official. The GCD is basically full of oldbies.

Like we didn't know anyway.

I've been here for 5 years almost to the day Gaia turns 10 which is pretty exciting! I can't wait to see what sort of shenan's Gaia gets up to.

I will dress in the colour of my join year for that day (purple for 2008 ) and basically sing happy birthday a lot, pinch Gaia's cheeks, tell Gaia how grown up it looks now and slip a fiver into Gaia's hand when their mum is not looking.
