Anyone notice that on Fishing Pier 2 is gone? I know that people who went to K-kon said that teh adminz are going to put up Casino soon, could it be possible they working on settin it up soon, and they have to remove some fishing stuff to get it ready?

I doubt it... they are not connected... maybe its just a glitch in fishing

I think they're just doing all of these "Glitches" on purpose to get us really aggravated and all ">O" so that our heads will eventually explode. Yeah, we're all part of this big-a** human experiment. O:

Maybe pier two glitched to much, and being busy with setting up the Casino, they took it down, rather then fixing it. Maybe so that people wouldn't waste time and effort on fish, which they won't be able to keep. I am sure they will put it up later.

I've never actually been one to fish, but is it possible that Pier 2 only opens when enough people are fishing? That way the 'extra' fishers could be transferred to another Pier held on a different server or something, to save the first server exploding?

If, however, the Pier has just completely disappeared for no reason, then it might well just be a glitch. That, or the admins decided that it was (for some reason) better to have just the one Pier per fishing spot? Again, I don't know.

However, I don't think the glitch is likely to be linked to the release of the Casino, unless as Izzy suggested they're not fixing it because they're working on implementing the Casino as soon as possible.

Heh heh... I fish quite a bit, so mebbe I can shed some light on this...

A few days ago, Pier 2 "dissapeared" for a while, and only Pier 1 was open. After that, Pier 1 was still there, but was being a whiny b***h and would not let anyone in. Yet after that, both piers were working for a time. However, yesterday when I logged in, Pier 2 had dissapeared, and Pier 1 was not allowing any connections (at least from my computer, heh).

So, your answer is probably that the chat server is down for maintenance; perhaps they are installing mods on there that will actually allow them to supervise the chats? God I hope so...

I have a theory that gaia is going to stop updating for awile, along with taking away some features, then all of a sudden we'll have a huge update with a casino and tons of other stuff.
