I think this whole "cash for gold" thing is getting ridiculous. All of my expensive items have doubled in price overnight. I feel bad for newer users who aren't "set-up" like an older user, like myself.

It may not effect a long standing user like myself, but Gaia is really alienating younger users who just do not have the means to keep up. I know that if this was ten years ago, when I was a young teen, I would have felt helpless to all of these cash based incentives and eventually quit because of them.

But if we go by that logic, Gaia's going against the TOS by selling us items for money, because users are forbidden from doing so. You seem to be missing the point of that rule, which is to prevent off-site trading.
