I'm furious over this.

My theory: Diedrich is easier to draw than EB is, so since this event is as simplified as it could be logically they'd want to save a few pennies by drawing Diedrich instead.

All I'm going to say is that, while I'm not at all surprised by how this event turned out, I'm still very disappointed and saddened that Gaia thinks it's totally cool to slap it's own users in the face like this. I honestly don't think we'll be seeing much of EB ever again.
