Until recently, I have been using a vampire avatar.

After five long years I changed.

I went to a shop and my current avatar showed up very close to my old avatar

You can see which one is my current one and yes, the white skin one in the rain is the vampire.

Spoons and sporks:

- Did you end up seeing your different avatars showing up on the same thing?
- Do you ever pay attention, care in the least about the avatars that show up?
- How long as this been a feature? I can't remember....
- Did you happen to see always the same avatar just standing there for months on end?
- Ever see someone you recognize?

Seriously though. My experience happened off-Gaia, but not off-Gaia Interactive. Someone from the GCD found my avatar in Gaia's old sister site GoOnline. I was like whuuuut?

I've seen several GCDers when I visit the different variety of shops and some CBers I recognize. I always laugh. Sometimes I screencapped and sent them to the people and said "nice seeing you there!" I never seen any of my old avatars (didn't know that was a thing?)

This happened to me a quiiiiite while ago. When the site wasn't centered, and MSN Messenger still existed.
I screencapped it because I thought my avi's expressions were funny for that situation. X3

I think I had that happen once before, but I don't think I saved it.

Though I have noticed that sometimes my avatar is standing uncomfortably close to another avatar. Like literally 1/8th of an inch away from the other, so they're almost piled on top of each other. Just looks creepy.

I have yet to have a doppleganger, but I do see people on the shops pages all the time and either flail over the cool avatars or seeing GCDer. I restrain myself from screenshotting though. I got other things to waste my time on. xD

Nah, to be honest, I've never noticed my old avatar in front of a store front after I changed. I have occasionally seen my mules when I was collecting their daily chance though. I do sometimes see others from the GCD when I'm going to the stores and sometimes want to be nosy and find out what they're buying. xD

Though I did just clean out my quick link thingy on Firefox yesterday and got a snapshot of several of my past avatars as various Gaia pages cycled through. xD
