Do you come to gaia for the same reasons you used to?

I'm keeping it simple this time. I really do just wonder if our reasons have changed.
I know mine have.
I think I come here mostly out of habit.
There's the enjoyment I get out of seeing people I know and gaia's normally a pretty safe bet if you just feel like chatting but even now I'm not here as much as I used to be.
Maybe it's my time XD

I used to come to Gaia to spam the GD.

Now I just like to dress up my avi and play zOMG.

I used to log on because I was simply obsessed with earning gold.

Now I log in out of habit, and to chat with friends.
Also to stalk my IRL buddies.

I was staying on Gaia because I have friends here. And I guess I still do stay on Gaia because I have a lot of friends here, but I can contact them through messenger and don't need to actually be on Gaia.

It's fun I suppose, the whole "Gaia thing" But I was excited about meeting people on zOmg and I can't do that, since the server connection drops every 10 minutes (And my computer is overqualified to play the game, and I have a DSL connection).
So it's just not worth it.

I'm planning on joining the military anyway, so I'm going to have to rip myself away from Gaia for basic and that s**t. So right now I'm just trying to get as much art as I possibly can.
Art is something that will last a long time. I've had ideas of printing out everything and making a huge art wall of... Art. xd

I guess it's because I'm lame.
But yeah, I like the art. The art of the comics, the art of the site, the art I can buy with gold.
Gaia is basically all eye candy to me.

I don't even do anything else on the internet any more. Before I joined Gaia I was pretty active in other forum communities. You know, where you just talk and aren't distracted by a bunch of games and avatars and s**t but...

I used to be obsessed with Gaia for purely avatars.
I never posted, I only whored towns for materials et cetera.

Now my focus is on profile creation, the GCD, and trying to remake up for lost friendships due to a huge hiatus.

Originally I thought Gaia was an anime version of Habbo so I hung around Towns for a week or two. Then I found the forums and I hung there. But now w/ zOMG that is about 75% the reason I still go on Gaia. The other 25% is my avatar, friends and forums. Right now I'm in forums because I've used up my internet bandwidth so I couldn't possibly get into zOMG. T________T"

Lol. I hope I remember to clean my inbox before I go to basic if that's the case.
Because it's already at 90% and I'm too lazy to go through and delete/savebox things right now.


Not a lot of people send me free art unless I post a lot more than I normally do.
So it makes sense that whenever I get a new sig I'm all "TIME TO POST A LOT IN THE GCD SO PEOPLE CAN SEE MY SIG."

I wonder if other people do that...
I know they definitely would if they got a new post style...

Well I came here because my friends played, then they all quit or I broke up with the girl who connected me to a large majority of them, so I stayed for the Roleplaying factor. Then I got bored and went on Hiatus. I quit and came back with a few more friends, then they weren't allowed to play by their parents anymore so I kinda just lost interest slowly. Then I got into art and stuff even though I'm completely horrible at drawing and editing so I stopped that. I just came back out of sheer curiosity and hit back just in time for Zomg. I'll probably stay long enough to play it when they fix the memory leak issue and then I'll go back to randomly playing unless I can get some friends to join me or I can make some on here. The GCD has been my favorite forum though, so I suppose you could count that as the one recurring reason I'm here. =D

My reasons changed. But that's because I changed with Gaia. It used to be Avatar > Forums > Word Bump > Repeat. But We've had events, plotline updates, new games, zOMG!, Evolving Items, New shops, and a bajillion other things.

Nope.

I used to come on to change my avatar and play with items. Now that's broken so I can't change at all. I also used to come to talk in the forums. I don't really do that much anymore because most topics bore me and I've seen almost anything anyone could throw out at this point.

The reason I come now is zOMG. I've got the heart of a gamer and this game, along with some friends I still talk to/play zOMG with on a regular basis, is the only reason I'm still here. The game saved the site for me so far, because every other part is beginning to fail in my eyes.
