What do you think of this increased freebie gold grant?

I was about to sell some of the Pink Links I have accumulated over the past year, but I noticed the Marketplace prices are now 100k+ (at time of thread creation). These were selling for much less not long ago, considering they only granted a max of a few million (and before that, up to 10k). This price increase sparked my curiosity. I opened a few and found an interesting change!

It looks like Gaia is increasing another gold-granting site feature, besides Booty Grab.

What do you think of this increased gold grant?
Should they continue with updating gift box grants? trunks?

If you have no idea what a Pink Link is:



You will suddenly see this little guy slowly bouncing around your screen (like Pink/Blue/Brown Gift Boxes or Golden/Brown Trunks).



This is a Pink Link. You click it and it saves to your inventory as a "special" tab item. You can choose to sell (in the MP), donate or open it.

Why were Pink Link updated with more gold?

We wanted to let all our players know that Pink links have been updated to provide additional amount of gold for our players. We implemented this change to provide our new players the chance to get some gold to be able to purchase items through the market place without being forced to purchase Gcash for them.

We are currently aware economy issues, and we are taking steps right now to improve the overall economy for all our players.

I didn't believe it at first either, but I triple checked and my gold went up over 666m after opening those 4. I've screencapped the others, but I think this one is good enough.

I've only got between 5-10k out of pink links so when I got mine today I decided to check the mp and then I listed it after seeing other listings
