I got that captcha, but I didn't get any adds, just words such as "buttered cookie" and "incredibly fast" on a colored background.

You still get your weird combos when you make reports of threads and posts. That still uses the Recaptcha system, which intentionally made the words even worse to read and an even worse quality. I know that system serves a purpose because it's all part of a system to digitize pieces of text and we're the ones trying to figure out what the captcha system thought the words should have been but it gets frustrating after sifting through ten word combos just to find something you can sort of make out.

I never had issues with the old one. The very rare occasions when I'd get weird text... well, that's why that button is there to cycle to something else.
