Instead of going with that, they released more Astra Cats.

I had forgotten about that.
I guess after UK left, it got shelved.

Besides, people were upset when rumors were flying around about how you'd have to pay cash in order to keep your pet alive/from running away.

Oh yeah. I vaguely remember that being worked on.

I never had an interest in it though.

imo I'd rather them actually keep up with the crap we have now, and stop adding new stuff altogether.
Unless of course they can keep up with that as well.

But at the current rate they're going, they'd probably release three GC bundles worth of stuff for a pet system, then recolor the everliving crap out of those items, then ditch it for the next cashcow.

I was really interested in the pet's feature, but was a little turned off, to it, when it became apparent cash would be a key factor.

Still a little upset it's clearly shelved, it could have been really interesting (cash features aside).

Too bad they abandoned it, it would certainly motivate me to go back to towns a bit more

What they could do is make a Pegacorn animal base and use that as the potion.
At least it would have a use, and it wouldn't take them too long to do.

Honestly... I kind of wish they would change that Pegacorn into a zOMG summon. At least then it wouldn't be rendered 100% useless in my inventory.

Uncle Kenny was the one who had been working on it and developing it before he left. He said he left development notes, but that it's up to those currently still there to decide whether they want to pick it up or not.

I don't remember Gaia Weddings. That must of been a extremely short lived thing!

It never happened. Gaia asked for feedback on whether we'd like to have it or not, but it was never implemented.
