I don't think all aspects of it should been event items just some elements like My Little Overseer.
Nah, I think they're fine as Cash Shop items. They're not really event items, anyway, more... costumes.

I did feel a little cheated by the cash shop items that were released. I could see them better as a reward for maxing out all stats :/
After looking at how wierd they made the SIN leaders companion pose I don't really want anything lol.
Sheesh, since they released the items in the Cash Shop all I've been hearing is various forms of "bawwing".

I don't care that they were released in the Cash Shop, nor was I surprised. This isn't the first time Gaia has done something like this, and it certainly won't be the last. Besides, they obviously weren't meant to be straight event items, and I think the event items we do have are pretty cool, and make sense. We're not the Overseer or Sentinel, we're their armies. Therefore, we get cult robes and weapons. Makes sense to me.

And I agree with Failingly Infallible; no one is content with anything anymore.

no. I'd have preferred the new items to be Monthly Collectibles, but they are definitely too good to be free.
I agree with this, it seems the best of both worlds really, there not free or gold items so gaia can bring in some money from them but there also not too expensive (at first anyway) that it gives some of the less fortunate people a higher chance of obtaining them

yeah it should be free, but you know, gaia doesn't make enough money.

Millions of dollars, not enough.

If I had millions I Wouldn't be happy. I don't blame Lanzer.

It costs 2 million to run the site a for a month. They make one million in GC sales and less than that with sponsorship. Gaia is not making millions of dollars. It's probably not making a profit at all.

And no the items shouldn't have been free, they're premium and very nice items and you're perfectly able to dress up your avatar and show your allegiance with just the items you do get for free from the event.
I like these items better, but I don't care because we get free items from the event itself.

Thanks for the stats, Anne, I've been wondering for awhile. It's obvious, but we needed a ballpark.

I don't think anyone can complain because we do get the free items.

They're from this thread if you're wondering.
Would you rather not have the items at all and get, cheap ones that look a bit clunky that all noobs will have by the end of the week. i don't!
now excuse i off to go same my gold! -flys off-
I'm cool with them in the CS. This event probably took up a lot of resource and making it pay for itself is probably important.
If Gaia had given those items out as event items for free, then there would have been less chance that people would consider them corporate and greedy for money.
Haven't you learned by now that most of the cool items are released through the Cash Store lately?

It would've been awesome if they we're given free as part of the event, but meh, we all know 98% of the good items Gaia releases need to be purchased with real cash, so it doesn't bother me anymore...
B.O.O. Shield >>> the clam thingie
what is more useful in a normal avatar?, the shield, for me the shield spear and medallion are great items, and i prefere them over the Overseer´s stuff, (i only wanted his hair and the wings in his robes, but we got the fugly scarf with the wings and no hair). for me the event items are better than the ones in the CS and way more useful in general terms U>.>
(unless they separate the horns and hair in the Sentinel, then that one will be really useful).

The two of you couldn't be more dead wrong then.

No one has ever been content with anything. If they were I wouldn't have much of a use now would I? n.n
