Hardcastle was closing in on the truth! That potato? CLEARLY the work of a hitman, who planted the offending spud so that Bruce's story would never air! Sentinel wants that story to go on, so that's why she raised him from the dead, and that's why the Overseer tried to stop her!

Don't you see? This is all a cover-up! The real enemy is whomever knocked off Hardcastle in the first place! The "Jack raising an ancient evil" thing? It's nothing but an alibi!

Don't quite know how these items figure into all of this, but, darn it, there must be a connection! The fiends!
