To be even more blunt, saying that they aren't keeping up with you is somewhat arrogant, seeing as you don't have to do as much as BOO has to do in order to be ahead. You don't deserve anything when you've gotten this thing handed to you from the beginning.

Without the glitches pertaining.
Well according to the scores, BOO is down by 1,203 points atm...but the other day, we were only down by like 4 points :/ So it might be a glitch, or it might be rigged.

Earliar today (couple of hours ago) we were down by 2,500 points or so...

Even earlier today we were down 3 points. =/

Uh, SIN was winning by 10k. So in answer to your question, it is rigged, so that BOO doesn't lose by a landslide. Apparently, a lot of people don't believe in aquariums taking over Halloween. Maybe that's just me.

Exactly. It's like the same misfiring bug that plagued SIN earlier in the event. You know, it's really hilarious to see what happens during the misfires. SIN gets bugged and the forums literally explode with rigging accusations and how unfair it is. BOO gets bugged and SIN shifts into the defensive. It's even more funny to see those who were complaining before trying to shut BOO members up. I'll admit it, I love me some good ol' fashioned hypocrites.

I'm going to keep playing the event, since there's not much we can do, really. Unless somebody notices, it looks like we're going to be saved by the Neutral Old Man who'll beat Sentinel within inches of death, much to the dismay (and nerdRAGE) of SIN. xp

Irony, thy name is oddguy. Your basically saying that every member on your team is working harder than every one on my team, and that our missions are easier, while yours' are so much harder. So you think our team has it easier, and by that logic alone you think you deserve to win. Thats arrogant.

Some of you BOO/SIN-ers are getting way to heated up about this. Once some error happens, threads immediately pop up calling rig.

Isn't this a new event system they're using this year? There are bound to be glitches, and if there are inconsistent point counts, it will be eventually fixed.

I remember this exact situation happening when I first joined in the 2007 balloon fight, and it's happened for every following event, hahaha. :')

BOO vs SIN aside, we have to remember they have rigged events before. Anyone remember the GRS/ new shop event??

This really isn't about who wins or loses. It's about having a fair game. The mods say that there are glitches, but one would think that they would have figured out their codes by now. It is suspiciously convenient, this "glitch" is.
An easy observation that is completely legit is this: if either team gets a lead above 100 points it can only be a glitch (or rigged, though we'll never be able to prove either way), because the algorithm doesn't allow for that :B
It's mathematically impossible to gain that much of a lead, except if one of the sides stopped playing alltogether.

They don't? ... Shoot, man!

Y'know what? I'm hoping that in the end, Gaia will say "Ok, you know what? The event got so big, we couldn't accurately track, so everyone gets to keep their skins. Only, they are permanently soul-bonded."

I'd like tha. Especially since the S.I.N skins we already have in Fire form. (Not to mention they're boring... but that's besides the point.) Boo's new, shimmer skin is new.

WOAH! BATTLE SQUID has just checked scores and another glitch must be happening. We were always close to them by at least 3 points.

Agreed I've noticed that!
I think it's rigged. They present us with the illusion of free choice, and then match the cannons off at near equal levels.

That way when it ends, Gaia doesn't have to declare a definite victor, and made dramatic alterations to the story/ world. None of the factions feel bad for "Losing", and Status Quo is preserved for yet another year.

The story will end on a neutral note, mark my words. I'll be completely surprised if S.I.N. pulls off a win, and Gaia fully recognizes it without pulling a Deus Ex Machina to "fix" the ending.
Maybe Theres Lag somewhere in the system?

I don't belive it would be rigged. that much
