Gaia is a forum; in effect it is one giant collection of chatrooms. sweatdrop

However, if you're really desperate for instant messaging, then just wait for the townships. Apparently, as well as being able to walk around, you'll be able to talk in real time with your friends.

Other than that, no. I think Gaia having chatrooms would completely defeat the point of it being a forum in the first place.

But that would explain why the kid who had stumbled upon these 'new' cliackable places (the clock tower, the fountain in Barton, and o shoot, I forgot the other xp ). I was perplex, as everyone else is, about why we would have an place where we type in a word and then get a word bubble next to us.

On the chatroom thing, No. It'll be hard to handle, it will deteriate Gaia since it's a FORUM community, and it'll be harder on mods to moderate.

This one thinks that you should spend a bit more time writing your posts, to check for grammer and spelling mistakes.

chatrooms are lame and filled with lame/queers/pervs. Besides, it would be harder on the mods to keep up with chatrooms, since they already have much to do on the forums anyway.
