I'm sure Ethe didn't decide to make this item so rare. She made a sad emote that gave me that impression, anyway! Does someone else decides the rarity of items when it comes to rigs?

im 99% sure it's not ethe, hell, i remember when the sailor wasabi item first came out, the artist thought it would be really common

but yes i am intrigued who controls the rarities, but we'll probably never know because their PMs would be swamped with complaining

I dunno why there has to be a super rare cat in every RIG.

This, this, THIS. People have been asking for a pet-like cat foreeeeeeeeeever and every time we get one, it's always a super-rare RIG item. WTF?

I think it's the other way around.


All the super-rares have been cats, excluding the SDplus dolls.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no RIG item near the worth of a kitten star.


Except this new cat item.


I don't see why they couldn't male the Pale Marionette the ******** rare item and let this cat item be a little on the chaper side. :/

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if either:

a) they think they included it in the rig, but a there's some sort of glitch and it isn't being given out/was never added (Gaia does that sometimes). It will take them a while to realize this.

or

b) There's only going to be one, and it will be in the last box ever opened.

I would love love love to have the black cat item, i enjoy the way it is drawn. However, I just cannot afford the amount of goes it would take to have even a slight chance at winning it (so to speak). As such, I shall just have to not try.

I do think though, that if for a change they made it a decent chance, more people would try to win and would buy more RIGs.

Actually when the Kitten Star was like 7-10 million the Exchangers were still selling it for 2-6 million because they know the worth of items...and if it's inflated they know that too [plus they're selling to other exchangers...they want the item to actually sell]. So I don't think I would blame them...I'd blame the MP inflaters who price something at 17 million cause they think they have the only one.

I'd be pissed. The cat is boring and the Pale Marionette is a much better item. So it's awesome it's more available to the public.

I think it would be the opposite. People were opening RIGs like crazy to have a chance of getting their hands on the cat. If the cat was more available, people would just buy them off the MP and not from the RIGs.

I don't know. I'm kind of amused by the idea of ultra-rarity, but i wonder how long it will take for one of these to even show up.
