We have a new charity RIG that you all have probably read about by now

"Today, October 4, is World Animal Day. To bring attention to this event and all the animals around us, we've got a special mini-Chance Item. When you adopt a Best Friend Forever you'll randomly get a dog, cat, rabbit or jackelope who will stand by your avatar through thick and thin.

Best Friend Forever Each pet carrier holds a friendly surprise eager to lick your face, pee on the floor and keep you warm through long winter nights. Open it up and see who's inside!

Since not all animals are lucky enough to find their forever home with Gaians, we're donating 10 percent of the proceeds from the Best Friend Forever to the ASPCA.

Best Friend Forever is only available for a limited time, so get yours before they're gone on October 18.If you've been waiting for the right time to recognize that special animal in your life, don't delay-- it's World Animal Day!"

10% of the proceeds to the ASPCA so this is much like its Oil Spill counter part.

Why DO they only give 10% away? It seems like a low amount for something that isn't even a physical item, but maybe there are things going on here I don't really understand.

(Also, I actually like the Humane Society as a charity but... tbh I'd rather just give them my money directly.)
