I think blaming the whole thing on Stephanie Meyer is silly. Vampires started to get sexy with Anne Rice and there are a TON of writers out there that use werewolves in that sexy predator love interest way in supernatural romances. Meyer just followed a trend... she didn't follow it WELL mind you, but I remember reading a lot of sexy vampires/weres before Twilight.

Well, I don't blame her completely...I know vampires were sexy. But with her, it was the only thing that matter. Hence my hate.

Ann Rice was all about emo-ish characters (DAMN YOU LOUIS PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER!) and they were sexy...But the "beast" about them was always treated as such and terrifying humanity. Not ******** them.

A creature that doesn't suck blood is not a vampire. There is plenty types of after-death creatures and blood is the defining one for it. We take that as premise, should we?
Well, we also know they can't reproduce because they're not living. That's also a premise that's hard to counter.
Third, we know that there is nothing useless in any creature and nothing goes to waste. Magic and Nature are wise in every universe because it always responds to the most efficient design.

Taking those three things as premise, we can say that the sexual organs of a vampire are useless since they can't reproduce and waste a shitload of blood in nothing. So it's only natural that nature of the vampire seek blood in order to survive and "reproduce" itself by doing so. Therefore it's also logical that blood-sucking it's the most pleasant thing for a vampire since nature tend to make nicer that thing it needs to be in order to survive (Think about sex, sleep and food biggrin )

So it's not only me who says it, it's COMMON SENSE that does.

My guess is that Vanessa has a giant body waxing machine and all of the guys go to the salon to get it done~ I'm assuming that Baine, Gambino, and -maybe- Logan are the only fuzzy male NPCs.

I definitely appreciate seeing more male characters with manly qualities like body hair (even if the only reason he has it is because he's a werewolf).

As I've said many times already: I'm in the current "kdjsflsjdfklsdjfHOT. heart " boat with so many others in regards to Baine. XD
