Plain arse fun. Stop taking things too seriously, concerning a bunch of pixels that could crash if Gaia Online ever does. The economics are annoying, sure, but the end result of a 'cool' avatar should be it's own reward.

And knowing I've been at this since `04, I can take that step back and say this. Hope others can do so in my stead, of their own regard.

we are doing art with our avatars
some people show their creativity
others show their idea of awesome style
others just throw random expensive stuff on and think it's cool

but in the end it's just because we can and will
