the photos do seem a little uninspired, but i love how it wasn't just one artist drawing the NPCs this time, it was multiple styles c:
and the event is a minor one, a very minor one. i mean it's just a day to flaunt pink and reds and chocolate. but still, i know how you feel on the laziness. :s

It doesn't. Someone's going around sending character messages calling themselves Cave Johnson. It's a cheap way of doing the character anon thing this event. Every anonymous message comes from Cupid.
