I went for the vampires. Loathe though I am to side with them, they, at least, are aligned with Louie, who is friends with Edmund. Add into the fact that Don Kuro is trying to kill Edmund, and you have a pretty pissed off elf right here.

'sides: gray elf, not dark elf. Don't like betraying elven brethren, but they dug their grave, and now they have to lie in it.

In one scene he has Cordell hold Louie by the neck on top of Gambino tower and basically says

It results in all out war, Gaia versus Don Kuro and his recruits
To see my fanfic actually starting to form is effing incredible.
I went with Don Kuro.

Small, wicked masterminds and incredibly charming.
And vampires are too mainstream. /shot.
