Isn't Flarn still around? He was in a mini-comic. Are those considered canon?

I'm not the one who wrote it, it was just in that peace-treaty guild. o3o

Flarn was in the Mini-comic, but I believe we were told mother took him so he could "heal". Being around Gaians had caused his emotions to spurr out of control and the DARKNRGY on this planet was poisoning him.

Now that's not to say the information above I just wrote is definite. This is merely an assumption based on old memories, and old memories aren't very reliable.

I suppose we can try to ask in the next AtA and get confirmation on Flarns visitation status. Lanzer doesn't really know about what goes on in Gaia anymore though... he once mistook grombies for '04 zombies.

Great job, Sushi and the Hive crew for putting it all together!
There's actually quite of Zurg-goodness happening in zOMG, that I haven't seen noticed before. : D

If Glarg was somewhere in zOMG, most likely Old Aquaduct, I think it would be pretty sweet if he was disguised as one of the Believers. Agent Caruthers, although a good choice, could be too obvious for such a formidable agent. Such a ladiesman he was.


Oh, how I miss Boing. Victory will be mine, eventually... Maybe an Iron Chef CI adventure is needed to bring him back?

@wandering: Not sure, but I like it. The more Zurg, the better IMO.
I'd also like to think zOMG! counts as cannon since they have an introductory main manga tie-in and give old NPC's a back-story as to what happened to them over the course of 2006-to-now. I suppose the same could be said for certain mini-comics, but a lot of them just seem to exist purely for the purpose of slapstick side-lines and quick jokes.
RIG's are definitely out of the question plot-wise however.

I thought at least some aspects of zOMG here cannon? Gino had that dream about his cloned father-family and I know the clones come up in zOMG. Maybe they were mentioned elsewhere and I missed it along the way.

Anybody else notice that Zurg can finally wear tattoos? As soon as I saw that I spent all my gold and ink buying up tattoos. xd Still got a lot to buy, though.

I think it's a few different things. For one thing, the five-year anniversary got people interested again. And of course the Factions for Piece guild got started, and then there was Mother's prediction that the world would end before January 17, 2012. It's a perfect storm of Zurg Plot nostalgia!

I wonder if the staff actually remembers that and plans to do anything about it? Seems the current plotline could be working towards that but it's hard to say. I wonder if the "end of the world" will lead to the rebirth of Mr. Gambino? I miss my dear Mr. Gambino. sad

It seems it's been forgotten. But maybe we can convince them to address it in a future plot. Maybe Mother dearest was off by a year or so in her prediction. xp

Ah the Zurg, how have I missed thee. I would love a Gaiapocalypse event to happen with Zurg. Maybe get invaded by the Zurg or the Zurg help us from another invasion. More aliens please! HAIL ZURG!

There's just a lot of things against the Zurg coming back, that I see being hurtles. It's hard to get excited, esp when this has happened 2 or 3 times already. xD

I know users had a lot of issues. I think they can keep it interactive with journals and a little posting but stick to a secure plot line and not deter much from it. They just need better communication and maybe a new Zurg skin. Like oh *cough*FLARN*cough*. I think with a little advance planning and not on the fly, then it could be done.
