Shin~The ladle monster!

Kitler could see the anger in her eyes. He couldn't tell if she was angry at him or the people around her, but her glare did not soften when she looked at him. There was no sign of gratitude or relief at seeing him. He could very well say that she was even more upset by seeing him in this room.

"H-hey," he said, following after her into the hallway.

He lied a hand on her shoulder as if to try to comfort her. He even put on a smile, as nervous and weak as it was.

"At least you're safe now."

((Sorry Naota.))

Jay soon followed after Cale and Kitler, stopping in the doorway to look back at the man who had done a damn sight better than her at handling the feisty gang members. It was obvious he was a very talented fighter, even if she had been unable to witness just how he had managed to take them down.

"Hey, come on..Not leaving you behind hun."

Speaking in a softer tone, since she was unsure if he even wanted to go back to the casino with them, but Jay didn't exactly fancy being ion her own in the car with the angry woman and the crazy driver.
Hopefully he would follow, since the sound of sirens were drawing closer...The police had probably been rung by a distressed neighbour or employee. And the last thing any of them needed was to be arrested, something she figured was more than obvious.

So giving him a brief smile the woman would depart into the hallway, jogging to catch up to the other two.

((It's fine, I've been slow to post.))

Finally the tense situation would dissolve. The remaining few thugs retreating out the door and no doubt regretting their choice to stand their ground. Eyes would fall to the ground, scanning over the mangled bodies left there. A few had already bled out, forming ever increasing red stains on the carpet. A few others would likely live through the night, though he couldn't speak to what would happen to them when their bosses found out about the events of the night. He could hear movement behind him as Jay and Cale made for the door. Stirring for a moment, he'd wipe down his blade on a body's shirt and follow after them.

Pausing just long enough to grab a coat conveniently slung over a chair, the blood stained fighter would make his way down the hallway trailing the others. He'd slip the coat on, and despite it being a bit big for him, it did at least do a good job of hiding the fact that he'd just killed a few people. The fact that they could hear sirens even as they made their way did do a number to increase the group's pace.

Looking at the man, you'd never guess he'd just traded blows with a handful of hardened gangsters. He still wore that calm mask. Nearly expressionless, aside from a faint and friendly smile. Cale might have qualms about death and killing, but Naota was certainly a man without. He'd long since made his peace with what he did, rationalizing it as his duty. For the greater good. He was hollow inside.

Cale wasn't shy about letting her displeasure show when she looked down at Kitler, shrugging off his hand. The expression wavered a little bit though when she saw his nervous smile and how shaken he was. He didn't seem to happy about the way the rescue had gone either, she would have bet all her casino winnings that he hadn't thought things through before going for help. There was a lot the little man hadn't thought through.

"...Yeah. We're safe now."

Her voice was clipped, a little pre-occupied. She had seen the look in Sero's eyes when the muscular man had made his retreat. She figured she was far from safe now, although she didn't tell Kitler that.

Her lengthy stride would have set her at the front of the group, had she not needed to slow it down just enough so that Kitler could actually lead the way to the car. She briefly wondered if the others thought she was unreasonably angry - they probably didn't know exactly what was going on either. Still, she didn't want to say her piece until they were in the clear. She didn't want any of them to get nabbed by the police after all.

Having her suspicions that Kitler had been as un-forthcoming with the others as he had been with her, she actually didn't bear any ill will toward her 'rescuers', not really. They were probably under the impression that they were saving her from some horrible fate. Hell, Kitler probably was too, but she couldn't help but feel that some honesty on his part in the first place could have saved them all from a whole lot of unnecessary hassle, and unnecessary killing as well.

Shrugging off his hand caused him to jump a little. Was she upset by the killing, too? She couldn't possibly be upset for anything else. Kitler could not fathom that she would enjoy the company of wild Yakuza. He didn't try to question it. He ran ahead of the three, speaking to them.

"T-the police are likely going to be downstairs, so access to my car is..."

He didn't want to tell them the worst case scenario of having no ride to obtain. Considering the police will be blocking the entire front of the hotel, there would be no way they'll get out in short time.

"B-but we can call a cab! We just need to get away from here first."

"Are you serious?"

Jay was a little annoyed that they now had to find another way out of the hotel, but it was not impossible, not at all, considering there was bound to be a way. Besides if they could all pull off being normal they would probably be let go..The blood on her hands was a dead give away however, since she had cleaned her blades on her dress, but neglected her hands...A stupid mistake now that she thought of it. Naota had been on to it an covered himself with a coat, all she needed was to hide her hands, then the four of them would be able to maybe even pull of being disgruntled room occupants.

Only if they got caught that was, right now they had to exit the building. Jay looked about as they continued their route, spotting a swinging door she figured it must lead to some kind of service area...Maybe even a service elevator that would give them a new path to follow.

"Hey...Guys...We could go this way?"

At worst it would lead to a fire escape, which they would then need to climb down without making too much noise...Easy enough for herself, Naota, maybe Cale since she didn't exactly know what the woman was capable of...hell she was only guessing that Naota would be able to sneak out in such a manner. Kitler however had not exactly given her any reason at all to think he would be capable of such a feat, but he was definitely one of the fastest drivers she had met...And no matter what way she looked at it...They needed him.

"Yes, I am. You may call me Ming. You can consider me your teacher. Ninety thousand is not easy money to pay back, so I will help teach you how to make that money back quickly as long as you follow the right protocols of our organization. Who knows. Maybe you will come to love this job and remain a member."

Ming reached into her suit pocket a folded piece of paper. Opening it, she handed it over to Lia across the table, along with a pen.

"This contract puts your bakery as collateral under our care. In case you end up not paying it back or being in circumstances where you're unable to pay back, we'll have something to fall back on."

"A thug teacher. Wonderful. This should be fun." Lia was clearly a little less than thrilled about being roped into such a shady group. She had just finished turning a drama filled page in the drama that was her life, and now she had a new problem. She knew that a certain someone wouldn't be too pleased about her new status....Or maybe he would. She really couldn't predict that guy's reactions. Her mind drifted momentarily into thought about what he was doing, but she quickly pulled herself back to reality.

"I wouldn't bet on it." Lia replied as she took the pen and signed the paper without much hesitation. It wasn't like she cared about what happened to that abandoned building anymore. It was just sitting there, slowly dyeing due to neglect. So what if the Triads decided to take it? At least they decided not to go for her home. "There's your contract." She slid the paper towards Ming. "So, what's my first lesson Ming Sensei?" She asked.

A flash happened from behind Lia. It was brief, but it was there for just a moment. One of the suited men that came with Ming took a picture as Lia finished signing the contract, which was pulled away fast likely when she was turning around to see who was doing such a thing. Folding the paper up, Ming placed it into a suitcase held by another one of these men.

"Thank you," she answered. "Your first lesson is learning to not trust anyone. The contract you just signed did more than just sign over your business. This is an actual bank agreement allowing the Renshu Triads to personally get permission to your bank account. As of this moment, all of your funds belong to us. And will not be relinquished to you until you have paid your debt to us through labor."

It was a harsh first lesson for Lia, and it was only going to go downhill from here. And it only took one gamble for the woman's life to take a sudden sharp turn. Of course, this was probably not going to go unretorted. Still, what could Lia possibly do to them.

Lia blinked at the flash, then turned to see where it came from. "Hey!" This was getting more and more fishy by the second. Why did they need to take a picture? She felt the paper being snatched from under her hand, which caused her to turn back towards Ming. "What?!" She didn't see anything like that in the contract. "Let me see that again. I didn't see anything about that in there." This whole entrapment thing was getting old. Really old.

"Go right ahead," she said, pulling out the contract so she could see it again.

"The fine print at the bottom. For a business owner, you're really not that attentive to these sorts of deals."

Ming chuckled, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it.

Lia took the paper from her and looked towards the bottom. She actually had to squint to be able to read the fine print. "THAT should not count as a legal fine print." She slid the paper back. "Well you can forget it if you think I'm going to give you people my bank information." She replied, uncaring about the contract. What would the gang do? Sue her?

Lia stood up and placed her hands on the table. "Ming, right? What exactly are you going to have me doing with this shady organization?" It was better to get started so that she could finish quickly. "I would like to make the quickest money possible....Without a high probability of getting shot." She didn't want to get killed in some drug run.

Ming took an inhale from her cig, not answering immediately. After she savored it, she looked up at Lia, her red painted lips smiling that evil smile.

"You're a spunky one, aren't you? Normally, when confronted with debts or incidents like this, people tend to either shrivel up in fear or go into a outburst of refusal like yourself. The odd thing is that you still want to go through with it even after showing rejection. Fine. It seems it will take something tangible to make you realize your position."

Ming snapped her fingers. The same suited man removed a labtop from out of the suitcase. Opening it, he began typing on the keyboard. The screen was currently turned away, but with one more tap, it was turned around for Lia to see. Upon it, she could see the Gaian National Bank's webpage. And there, Lia's actual bank account: her number, her address, her social security, everything was visible for all to see.

"Xui, it seems Miss Lia here is a bit disobedient. Show her our actual power."

The man nodded, pressing his finger on the Enter key. Upon the screen, a transfer was occurring. And right before Lia's eyes, she would watch the numbers of her bank balance dropping quickly.

Lia's eyes widened at the screen. How did they even get her information that quickly? This was the first time she had been in the place? Did they get information on me when they checked my ID at the entrance? "Okay! I get it!" She exclaimed quickly, not wanting her cash to shrink even another cent. She needed SOMETHING to go back to once this was all over. "Just...Tell me what you want." She sat back down once the numbers stopped dropping, defeated for now. Clearly, she wasn't planning to give up, but she needed to bide her time until she learned about this organization's style.

Shee let out a breath to calm herself down and to quell the urge to punch Ming in the face. She needed to keep a cool head with these people or she might lose it. It was strange; she had no thoughts about trying to run away. Rather, she was more concerned with thinking of a way to defeat her new enemies. They needed to be crushed, or at least crippled as punishment for messing up her night. But these things took time. She would have her chance later. "I'll be a good little worker since you seem to have me over a barrel."

Watching the way she panicked to the dropping numbers truly made Ming's night. The Enter button was hit again, and the transfer was stopped. The labtop was put back away, while the Triad leaned forward to the defeated Lia. Money made the world go around, and obviously it looked like Lia's cushioning for comfort.

"You live on our payroll now. You get allowances based on how good of a job you do. We'll give you a card which will have money placed onto it by us. For the time being, you have no access to your current bank account. If you even attempt to take any money out of it, we'll be alerted, your account will be locked, and all your lifetime funds will go to us."

Ming tapped some of the ash from her cigarette into the tray.

"Now let's get down to what you will be doing. Our organization runs like any other business. We work to gain profit and place ourselves on the top of the market. We're not public, so we don't have to deal with things like taxes or unions. But we still try to keep some standards, so we value work ethics. As long as you aren't caught with your hand in the jar, we take good care of our brothers and sisters. We want to use your bakery service as a front to advertise some of our services. Unlike other businesses, the catering business is one of the best fronts we could have. It's less suspicious and allows us to reach out to a large amount of people. Especially the big high rollers in the high valleys. We'll send some men over in the next few days to sort things out, but you, Lia, will be at the head of expanding to a new frontier for us. If you accomplish this, you'll not only pay your debt off in no time, you'll even get some money in your pocket. Sounds good, right?"

Every word that came out of her mouth brought on a new wave of irritation. Allowances? Really? Did she suddenly revery to being a teenager in this mafia family? She held back the eye twitch that was fighting to make itself known. She had to keep reminding herself that she needed to bide her time. For now, she would show an innocent smile as Ming went over the infuriating terms of her employment.

"Oh goody. I've always wanted to bake cookies for gangsters." She responded, unable to totally hide her sarcasm. "So I have a few questions. What exactly would I have to do when I get my bakery up? Where will I be going? And when do I need to be there?" She asked. Lia only had two inactive locations, but she knew how to set up shop pretty easily. She learned forward as well to meet Ming's eyes. "If it's a new location, I assume that the Triads will provide the funds to set up shop since...Well, I'm currently broke, apparently." She asked with a nice smile. It was like she was talking about the weather on a sunday morning if you judged by her expression alone. You could almost see flowers spinning around in her background.
