((no worries, I got this 3nodding ))

As soon as the door shut behind him he took one step towards the bar and stopped."Well s**t." he cursed quietly before looking to the blanket and pillow. Was he truly this idiotic. Thee was an attractive, exotic woman in his bed, who had invited him to stay. Invited him! Every sense of his screamed at him to turn around and go back in. With a sigh he fought that urge and walked the rest of the way to the bar, throwing the blanket and pillow to the nearest chair with a measure of frustration. He couldn't put her at risk.

Looking to the bar then, he crossed the remainder and frowned. It was fully stocked, the bar wiped clean, and even the wood was freshly polished. Nagato had been busy while he was gone.

A thought then came to him, and his eyes opened wide, it was already the new day, though the sun was yet to rise. Would she be in trouble for this? Would they come looking for her like she once said? If they came here what would they do? He began to rub his temples then, he was over-thinking things, he must be. He always did after all. Still, in the off chance...

Without a word, without a sound he crossed the bar too a nearby table with a window view of the front of the bar. He took a seat and stared out, scanning with his eyes for any and all movement.
Movement would arrive not too much longer thereafter, just as the sun was rising. A young man, maybe in his early twenties with a skin tone just a little lighter than Havala's, and short, black curly hair approached the establishment at an easy going pace. He didn't appear to be in any hurry, but he probably wasn't there just for a bit of breakfast either, confident but no apparent effort to appear impressive. At a glance, other than the obviously similar ethnic background, he had little in common with Havala. He was well built, but not bulky, at least a foot taller than her, his clothing was dull and utilitarian, and he seemed rather altogether average. The only thing that might really stand out about him was the heavy bronze ring he wore around his neck. Rather than being a closed circle, it had two ends a couple inches apart with rounded caps. But even this was dull, hardly kept up at all, and certainly hadn't been polished in years. He had his sleeves pulled down over his hands and gathered in his fists to keep them warm as he walked, but released them as he entered, revealing matching bronze bracelets.

The young man took a moment to look about briefly and orient himself to the area. Of course, he noticed Fuji right away, but had an odd way of avoiding eye contact for someone with the sort of confidence he seemed to have. Seeing that there was no one else about - no big surprise there at this hour - he headed casually in the larger man's direction, his expression mild and unreadable but not necessarily unpleasant.

((dundundun!!!

o__o Noooo! Did I miss you?!))

As soon as he appeared, Fujiwara raised an eyebrow. Was this Havala's friend she had mentioned? Thoughts ran a million miles an hour through his head as the man crossed the way. For all Fuji knew, this man was just a new customer. He watched him walk in, and looked at the door as he entered. Fuji wore a pleasant expression as the man walked in, looked around and then walked up to him. Looking at his eyes rather than his appearance, he raised an eyebrow once more. "Hello sir. May I help you?"

He felt bad, preferring to stand and greet the man as he walked in, but he wasnt moving unless new movement entered his vision from outside, or the man as here to force Havala back.

((I'm here, had to restart my computer due to lag.))
((That's cool ^ ^ I'm just excited to actually be on at the same time))

Some part of what Fuji said seemed to catch the man's attention as his own green eyes focused suddenly on Fuji's. He bit his lip for a moment as though debating whether or not to talk and, if so, what to say. "I am looking for a man named Fujiwara." he finally said bluntly, his accent similar to Havala's but much heavier. He suspected who Fuji was already, but he wasn't prone to making assumptions that could get him into trouble. "And a woman like me. I know she is here somewhere." he added. He'd like to find both, but one or the other was better than either.

(Oh my eek )

With a genuine smile he nodded to the man and gestured to the chair opposite of him. "I am Fujiwara. Anything I can help you with?" He wasnt at all surprised when the man had said his name.He wasn't sure of what else to say, who was this man? He focused on the green eyes, much akin to the ones he currently wore. He was in a good mood, that he could admit, no matter how wary he was currently.

(Oh my, bad post is bad. Sorry.)
The man didn't smile back and didn't take the seat, though he glanced at it briefly as if considering it. "The woman does not do charity and there are no free samples," he said evenly. "You owe her. Why haven't you paid her?" he inquired not forcefully exactly, but certainly unhappy about whatever situation he thought he was talking about. He looked about again as if expecting to find something he hadn't seen a moment ago. "Where is she?" he asked abruptly.

(('s okay >.> mine's not all that great either. And I'm slow, sorry.))

His eyebrow rose once more as the man rejected his offer, and almost impossibly high when he spoke once more. His smile grew and he began to laugh, not mockingly, but a genuine laugh, as if this man had just said the funniest joke he had ever heard. t stopped the same time a loud screech emitted from his chair as he stood, his eyes suddenly gray, his look serious.

"I dont know who you are, I dont know why you're here, and i'l be damned until i tell you where she is until you start giving me a little more information."

His tone was deadly serious, his cat ears folded back, his tail flicking back and forth like a whip. "Besides." he said simply. "I have no idea what I owe her for in the first place."

((sorry for the delay, started in on some chores and got in the zone razz
((I know how that goes 3nodding ))

The man didn't seem to react at all. If he did, it was masterfully hidden except for a slight frown for being laughed at. He was beginning to seem somewhat... impaired? Incapable of a broader range of emotion, or simply apathetic maybe. Possibly a bit slow too, if his failure to react to the nonverbal indicators of anger was anything to go by. The first signs that he was at all perceptive came as Fuji stood, and the man straightened just a little, standing a little taller, with a defiant tilt to his chin. "I am her escort and her handler. I indulged her foolishness in coming to this place as long as she was where she needed to be when she needed to be there. It's well past time for her to return." He explained, already giving more information than he was accustomed to or generally inclined to. This was not a normal situation though, and there wasn't exactly a rule book laying around. "Where is she?" He demanded again, noting with a temporary spike in his heart rate the color of Fuji's eyes. She'd warned him about this color. Figures he'd see it so soon.

Finally some real emotion showed through at Fuji's last words. No idea what she was owed for? Rage welled in him so hot he felt his face burn and the edges of his vision turned red. Just who exactly did he think he was anyway? "You couldn't afford to look at her if she didn't choose you!" he growled suddenly. He didn't seem to be at all concerned with the sheer difference in size or the fact that Fuji could probably pick him up and throw him across the room.

Escort and handler played through Fuji's mind so many times he almost didn't catch the rest, but seemed to catch up right as the man came back with an angry retort. Fujiwara's eyes, still steel gray, examined the man calmly before he shook his head. "Well then I must thank you for allowing her to come visit. She is a radiant sunbeam in this lonely place, I assure you." He smiled, his eyes a friendly green for a moment before hardening back to their original gray. His tone became dark then, before he spoke once more.

"Child. Are you renting her body to men?" the boy might want to choose his answer carefully before responding. He had his issues when it came to anger lately, and already this foolish man had waltzed in and pushed many a button, even if he did not realize it.
The man's glare never relented though he was inwardly a bit confused by the unusually eloquent and flattering words. "Good. I'm glad you liked her. Pay up and she'd be happy to come back as often as you want." he said irritably but truthfully. If the man had enjoyed her visits so much why was he pretending not to know what he was paying her for? He was beginning to feel there was something going on here that he was missing. This man wasn't making a ton of sense, nor did his mood seem to fit what he was saying.... so... there must be something else... but the man didn't know what it was, and didn't much care. He wanted the money and he wanted the woman, and he wanted to get back before it was too late in the day.

Here his mind abandoned its attempts to sort things out to come to a screeching halt. Confusion entered his expression alongside his anger as he tried to understand why the man had asked him that question... the fact that he'd been referred to as a child didn't even seem to register with him. Generally speaking, most personal insults he didn't care about. He eyed Fuji in wary silence for a long moment. "I make sure she gets where she's going and returns unharmed. That is all I do." That wasn't strictly the truth, but this man didn't need to know all of the dirty details. The only reason he got to know any of them was because, while he put on a pretty good show of fearlessness, he was very well aware of the danger he was in.

"That's a bullshit answer, we both know it." the words left his mouth before he had time to think about it, but he meant them all the same. "I have not rented her out in anyway. She shows up, I feed her, I give her tea, I teach her about plants, and we talk, that's all that ever happens here." he was unsure of how much trouble Havala might be in for him to tell these things to this man. He stood straight then, calming damn a small bit as he sighed. "How about I make an offer. It's really simple and non-violent. We sit down, and we talk. I have questions, as I am sure you have questions, we both seem to be a little.... mis-informed. Let's clear up this little debacle, and then let the chips fall where they may."

He was unsure if the man would understand the metaphor, but then again, he didnt much care. If they cleared the air, hey might both be a little more civil towards one another.
The man's lip twitched in irritation but he kept his mouth shut. The more this Fujiwara person spoke the more muddied things seemed to him, although some of it was a bit of a relief to hear. Assuming it was true, which he did not. He rather liked the idea of a non-violent solution though, so he accepted, albeit warily. He hesitated, watching Fuji and reassuring himself that the offer was sincere, before relaxing somewhat. He stepped up to the table, but waited for Fuji to sit first. "There are things I don't know and things I can't tell you." he warned, but sat back with his arms crossed, waiting for Fuji to start.

Fujiwara nodded and took a seat once more, things had escalated quickly, and he knew better than too let his emotions get the better of him. "Fair enough. Let's start this off easy I suppose. I'll ask a question, you provide an answer to the best of your ability. then you ask a question and I will follow suit." he paused a moment before speaking again. "My name is Fujiwara. What is your name?" It was simple, get aside the pleasantries first, and then start diving into the more pressing questions. At least they were pressing to him.
The man sat just a little sideways on his chair so he wasn't quite facing Fuji head on and didn't look at him but every so often. "I am called Mishka." he said calmly, his face returned to it's previous near-expressionless. He was a little uncomfortable with this situation but he had no better ideas. He didn't know what to ask, he wasn't accustomed to asking questions. Usually he stood by looking impressive or absolutely unimpressive, nonintrusive. "Is she safe?" he finally asked. Apparently he didn't feel the need start with pleasantries and build up to anything.

((holy crap I'm so tired @__@ I only got two hours of sleep early this morning and it wasn't even continuous... brain is slowing down >< Um but I have all weekend off, are there particular times that you expect to be online? I'll try to be on then. .. and no, not leaving just yet, but I might pass out. sweatdrop ))

He nodded as the man introduced himself. Mishka, a strong sounding name. As the man asked his question Fujiwara smiled and nodded. "Yes. honestly, after she left the other day, I went on a jog, came back in the evening and she asleep on the couch. So I set her up with a room so that she might sleep with some sense of comfort." Well this was actually going a long smoothly. His next question might not get answered, he realized, but he had to know. "My next question: A week or so ago, Havala came in with a nasty looking bruise upside her head. What is the name and location of the person who did that?"

((Basically, very shortly I will be hopping off. When I do I will be on sporadically throughout the weekend. It's going to be pretty busy for me, so we can just hope to catch one another, haha))
