"Well, this is an interesting change..." Ninja muttered to herself as she walked out of the backrooms, cloaked by the darkness as well. She turned her head to look at the visitor and smiled with relaxed ease.
"Welcome to the Tonberry and Cactuar Bar. Do you need something?" The neko continued to smile lazily as she watched the guest whom she could see perfectly even in the dark.

"Water." The woman was. Her voice was delicate-sounding, as if she was merely whispering. :I would like some water, please."
She looked around, eyes downcast even though they were obscured. "Where is...Astral?"

Ninja nodded with a more cheerful smile.
"Sure thing." As she got out a glass and began to pour in the water, she shook her head.
"I don't know; I haven't seen her lately.. Do you want ice or no?" She held up the full glass, the sides already sparkling from the coolness of the water inside.

"No ice." She responded. She frowned, then lifted her head as Astral entered the main area.
"Hey, Erebos~! I thought it got darker in here!" Astral piped cheerfully.
"Astral." 'Erebos' replied quietly.
Astral rushed her, wrapping her in a hug. "Whats up?"
"I have water."

"Hey, ninja. This is Erebos." Astral said, pointing to the dark, speech-disinclined woman.

Ninja's ears twitched at the sound of Astral's approach, and she turned her head just as the white haired woman arrived. She watched their encounter with quiet amusement and walked over to set the water on a table nearby.
"I figured." She grinned over at Astral before turning to Erebos who she'd just been introduced to.
"I'm Ninja." She said with a smile, offering her hand for a handshake.

"Uh, she's a little different." Astral said, rubbing the back of her head. "And socially disinclined. A bit of a shut-in, really. Sun hurts her skin like fire and lava would, thats why she's dressed liek this and her skin is so pale. I'm surprised she managed to get here, actually."

Upon closer inspection, Erebos looked like she was around Melodys age.
"I found something weird." Erebos murmerred. Her hands slid from the inside of her cloak, pulling it open to reveal a small child huddled there, looking confused.
"Wheres Otou?" she said, her voice ringing with fear and sadness.

Astral blinked, surprised. "Neriah?" she demanded. She knelt down, a frown on her face. "How come your not at home with..er..'Doggie'?" She asked. Kall, Neriahs late Mother, owned a huge mastiff, who had taken a liking to Neriah and was dedicated to protecting the vampire.

"Mommys gone, and now Daddys gone, too!" Neriah cried, her eyes tearing up. She clutched a heavy, too-big golden locket around her neck, which had Kalls scent on it. "They both left. Daddy promised he wouldn't leave me all alone again!"

"Oh.." A look of regret crossed Astrals face. She drew the child into her arms, standing. "Sweety, Gaven isn't gone. He just went away for a while." She assured the shivering child, soothing her. The real truth would take too long to explain in voice, and was too mature for the child.
Gavens coven had taken the liberty of feeding in an area, and killing the victims in the process. That on its own wasn't the biggest problem, but they were very..messy with their kills.

Erebos contenued explaining, to Ninja now. "She wandered into my home and hid in a corner." she said softly, tilting her head to the side. "The child wishes for her Father."

She couldn't remember what it was now, but it sounded like the same language 'Neriah' had spoken. After Erebos finished explaining what was going on, Ninja sighed and slowly walked over to Astral and Neriah. She leaned down so she was eyelevel with Neriah.
"Hey sweety.. That's a pretty locket you have there." The neko spoke softly with a gentle look in her orange eyes, her voice warm and comforting. It almost had a hint of motherliness to it, but there's no way Ninja would use a voice like that...would she?

Neriah nodded. "Not human food." She said, matter of factly. The panic attack now over, She looked around to find the erebos was gone, left.
Don't worry, the author will go into more depth about Erebos soon. wink
Hakiji stood near Neriah, now. "I'll take you to hunt." He said, holding out a hand with a wolfish grin.

Astral sighed. "Hakiji, don't scare the poor girl."

"I'm fine." Neriah disagreed. "I've hunted before."
Ninja's nose wrinkled in disgust, but the look vanished before Neriah could see it. Ninja was fine with Neriah. She thought the little vampire was adorable! heart It was Hakiji that she didn't like. stare
With a sigh, Ninja turned to Astral since she was the only person left other than herself.
"Want some icecream?" She asked with a grin.

"Wow, its been a while since I've treated this place as my home. I've left Toxic to take care of the other bar, and Gavens never around anymore, so theres little need for me to be there."
Her eyes saddened a bit at speaking his name, but she shook it off and grinned. "So." She said, pulling off a handstand and spiring herself onto the counter, landing in a crouch. "Hows things with Kyoka?" she asked teasingly.

Her eyes saddened a bit at speaking his name, but she shook it off and grinned. "So." She said, pulling off a handstand and spiring herself onto the counter, landing in a crouch. "Hows things with Kyoka?" she asked teasingly.

Ninja blushed as she vaulted herself forward, landing behind the counter with a roll. She stopped at the entryway to the kitchen and stood, walking in to get the icecream. Hopefully the sugary treat would distract Astral from this subject.
"Fine, by my definition." Ninja said, her tone curt, from the kitchen. She already had bowls out and the icecream.
"...Do you just want the whole gallon? Or do you only want a bowlful?" She knew how much Astral loved her sugar, but had never witnessed the other female eating gallons of icecream at a time. Maybe it was too much of an extreme....maybe not.
