Located on the outskirts of Downtown, right by the border of the Industrial District, a run-down
bar, founded by retired supers occupies a corner of a street. On its face are old-western, saloon
doors and above where its name, "The Watering Hole" is plastered in a dim, neon-red, the frizzed
outline of a cheetah chasing its prey, a gazelle, can be seen, also mobile and neon. Inside, dimly
lit, are shambles: worn-down floorboards and walls with pictures of notorious supervillains. And,
of course, there’s an obligatory wall of superheroes that ended them all. The atmosphere is
brawl-ready and slacked all the time. It takes a strong gut and a strong jaw to stay around
these parts.

Okay, listen. This isn't, like, the prettiest thing in the world, but it'll send you through a friggin' loop, it will, y'know? This is a group superherovillain roleplay and we're looking for fresh blood so that means if you're interested in this, ante up and join in the brawls. Or stop in for a pint. The characters are made as a byproduct of being awesome and having awesome all around you, so no worries if you're concerned with something - we're here to help you out.

METRO CITY


"Population eight million plus, Metropolis has always had a series of unusual guests and inhabitants on it's streets - being the symbol of civilization in the nation, most who came here see Metro as a gateway - a chance to live a life of excitement and make a difference. It's park benches are as comfortable as your five year old sofa, the weather is sunny about 200 days out of the year and traffic is a great way to get your 4 page essay done before work - but the most famous slice of the Metro isn't it's old warehouses by the docks or its grumpy hot dog stand owners. It's the superheroes that zip around the Metro skies, leap off the high skyscrapers at noon, and the supervillains that chase them down the subway system." [ From Page 1. ]

INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT


Half-finished buildings frequent the land here. It feels desolate and cold, compared to the rest of Metropolis. Bars and other miscellaneous establishments are dwindling in these parts because no one is permitted to roam freely anymore. Most of the construction vehicles are parked in the streets here and it sees the least of the Met activity. While the Projects host most of the homeless, this is where the very few who have nowhere else to hide settle. Also, the setting of our wonderful bar, The Watering Hole.

Alright, so check this.

We're a nice ensemble of roleplayers who managed to cling to each other long enough for a pretty nice bond to establish itself among our throwing of characters at one another. The main roleplay, Capes within Metropolis took a bit of a slow pause while we returned to our studies. As that happened, we were planning things, always chatting about things on the side; and that's where we come now. This, The Watering Hole is one of the many "Alternative Universe" roleplays we've been working out to further embellish our roleplay characters and further our experiences with the characters, because it's such a fun experience!
